I thought a boost leak noise would me more of a "whooshy" sort of noise (that's my technical term for it) I have an electronic boost gauge but like previously mentioned it's set low anyway... I've got someone to come and have a listen to it on Monday just to be sure. We will see

Socks - only running .6 as I had all the problems so set the boost really low. Ollieh17 - No, I had a huge hole in one of my intercooler pipes but that has been sorted and the actuator I had on was shocking but obv that is sorted now. Its just really strange that I haven't heard this noise at all until now....

Well because of all of the problems I have had I set my boost to .6 so when I was fitting everything the boost wouldnt go through the roof before getting it tuned. I will see what happens when I put the boost up once last bits are fitted It has only felt sluggish because my boost setting is really low at the moment so i wouldnt be able to tell lol! Thanks, once again, guys

Oh ok, ahh do you think there is a problem with mine then? It hasn't picked up the noise that well as it is quite loud. Can you let me know if your new turbo stops the noise please when you fit it? thank you x

Hi All This might be a really stupid question but is the whistling sound my turbo (it's really loud). I've had quite a few problems with my car and since I fitted the HKS actuator it's made this noise, I don't know whether this is just the turbo I am finally hearing or not? All I've been listening to since I got it was boost leaks etc..... Hopefully this vid works.

Ah ok I might look into changing that. But sometimes it won't start at all and I have to wait a minute or two and even then it struggles. It's so weird. I am going to get a sard FPR and see if it helps ad if not I'll have to start replacing other things lol x

Need help again. As stated I fitted a TD FPR a few months ago and I started having problems with it starting when the engine is warm. For instance I turn engine off for half hour then go to start it and it doesn't start. I've recently had TD have a look at it and they sent it back but said nothing about it (whether it was faulty or not) anyway, I fitted it incase they had fixed it and I'm still having same problems! Does anyone know why this could be? Cheers Kate
