  1. These are the numbers on the mines ecu And these are the standard ones And ill see if i can get hold of one but how do i test it with the multi meter? Getting sick of swapping the ecus back and forth now And surely if its hitting fuel cut before starting that makes the ecu faulty because it runs sweet on the stock ecu... With the mines ecu fitted it turns over really healthy it just wont actually start
  2. Nope no fcd, just refitted and reduced my fuel pressure and theres no difference.. Done diagnostics with the eml and it shows no faults.
  3. Unfortunatley i dont have a multi meter to hand. Ill try the fuel pressure and get my numbers from my old one for trisk then report back
  4. Nope no stickers at all on it, ill go have a look at the stock ecu and see what it says.. Will also try winding my fuel pressure down a little bit because when fired the pressure bounces between 2.5 and 2.6ish bar.. And if it was a map sensor wouldnt the car be affected with the stock ecu fitted? As its spot on with the stock ecu
  5. Where will they be on my stock ecu theres a piece of rubber glued to it And not particularly mate it turns over really well just wont fire i got one splutter from it but it was barely alive and died immediately
  6. Yeah dont want to touch the wiring because i dont feel like i know enough about the loom to start playing with it, electronics arent my forte lol! And yeah i followed amjads guide he put in abother thread on here
  7. The only numbers are 048 and 920227nb on one side and 1237 on the plaque
  8. On the mines one? Whereabouts will it be please? And yes i understand that but ive been told it was tested on a mk3 quadlight from the same year as mine!!
  9. The wire thing is specific to the hrf ecu designed only for the mk1 gt ive read. Its a PLUG AND PLAY ecu so why would i have to cut my loom? Its been sold to me as tested working on a mk3 quadlight ep82 so unless my car has a one of a kind loom i dont think its going to do nothingl other than risk causing damage to my car! And also in no post on here have i said im willing to try "anything" Whereabouts are you shaun? Bit unsure wether id like to just stick it in the post
  10. Im not prepared to play around with my loom tbh
  11. Its been "tested" on a quaddie.. I dont have the stock fpr and i dont know of anyone round me with an ep82
  12. I dont have the standard fpr so will drop the pressure on the regulator and give it another go this afternoon
  13. Theres nothin else ever been wired into the ecu loom and the fpr is set at 2.5 bar? Yes trisk it starts fine and runs well on the stock ecu
  14. Why has this been placed in the feedback section when i required help to try get it working so i can close the dispute on paypal and get it running on my car! Been looking forward to fit it since new year and its come to being fitted and my car wont fire up just turns over forever Im not doubting micky but at the end of the day ive been sold an ecu and it wont work... The car turns over and primes the pump just wont fire :/ Also im the only person i know of with a gt round leeds/ bradford unless anyone knows someone on here willing to try it?
  15. its a 2 plug ep82 ecu or it wouldnt have plugged in..
  16. hi, i fitted a mines plug and play to my ep82 gt today that i purchased from micky boy.. the car just turns over but wont start. was running fine on my standard ecu and is continuing to run fine now ive refitted it, ive spoken to micky whos adamant its working however ive been forced to open a dispute on paypal! id rather get the ecu running on my car than have to go back to square one and find another one!, just wondering if anyone has anything i can try to see if i can get it working?
  17. Not at the moment sorry. It looks similar to the lambda plug but whatever plugs into it has more pins
  18. Noticed in my engine bay of my gt today where my lambda plugs in (above the gearbox) and from the same area of the loom theres 2 more plugs, one which a search on here has led my to believe is a cat temp sensor plug which i dont need as im td04 decatted anyway. And another which i dont have a clue what its for? Anyone know? Thanks
  19. Still doing it will try the king lead!
  20. Plugs fixed mine as far as i know, replaced my age old iridiums for ngk bkr7e-11 plugs at a grand total of £9!!
