Walker96 - couldn't you retro fit the winders on to them? Drill a hole through the door card or is it a bit of a mission?

Ryan- yeh I really want to get it sorted but then feel like just getting one with twin breathers. Either way it'll be black when it's sorted

Jack- ha ha it is a hell of a lot better but still need to finish the drivers. It should give me a much better driving position, sense of speed and hold me in the corners a bit better.

Finally got round to finishing one seat frame today- it's the passenger one at the moment as we wanted to see how it went. Turned out well and we got about a 2inch drop over the standard mounts.

We ground off the four original mounts and made a square frame. Next we welded a mounting point on each corner.

Still not totally happy with the way the throttle cable is but its secure and light. Car feels a little more torquey and freer revving but then it could all just be in my head! Next up is the drivers seat frame and a brake upgrade

Here's it all fitted up- I used black vac hose to give it a factory look

Next was the Corolla inlet- was a bigger pain than I thought but got there in the end. Made a custom bracket as the original one wouldn't fit- welded a washer on the under side so that the injector harness could still be clipped in place

Next came the custom low seat rails- you can see in the pic that there's a decent 2inch drop just got the drivers side to finish off as we were getting our eye in with the passenger side

Got quite a bit done this weekend. First off were the 98 spec glanza door cards that I randomly managed to find this weekend. Already ordered some 96 spec glanza ones though so might have them up for sale soon but the currier hasn't managed to deliver them yet.

wow that's really good! not had personal experience with them but heard great things. Always run khumo and they are great but might give the others a try next time though

Thanks mate, bit of a boring colour but it matches the exhaust heat shield and as always, every is to look as stock as possible got black vacuum hose too

I was literally talking about this today. A good sr hardly ever struggles to sell privately though. Pxing any car is crap if you can't do it privately

Ha ha each to their own mate. I don't even like the glanza one when they're on glanzas lol, I've seen a glanza running an NA rear bumper and fat wheels- it looked mean as fuck

ive seen a white one with grey/black and it looked really good. get some photo shop guru to sort out a few virtual versions there were loads of grey sr's before christmas wern't there.
