Yeh that's right mate so not too bad. It's 540 brand new with everything and mapped but if I bought the second hand emb and then got TD to map it it'd still be 450. so I was wrong it'd be £90 more to go for a brand new one but then you've got a warranty and a guarantee if anything went wrong.
-
I'm not sure mate that's what I'm trying to find out but TD charge 250 for fitting and mapping so I'd only be saving 70 over a brand new kit supplied fitted and mapped by them. And I'd have no come back of something wasn't right with the second hand unit :/
-
I looked into it and for all the time and effort and money you may aswell just go for an emanage. There's one going on here at the moment that I'm looking at, it's from a glanza so not sure if it'd fit but it's cheap enough.
-
Anyone got any info on my last post?
-
Snap and found them dog turd
That was on a gt4 though so a little heavier
-
I've found Ebc to be shocking in the past mate I've given them a chance on a couple of cars in the past and they were useless. That was following the massive run in times you're meant to give them too. As said above, mintex or ferrodos mate
-
Oh and are you still going for the emanage at td?
-
They look great mate, I'm sticking with the speedlines so am going to need spacers :/ to the uneducated they'd still think it was a v. Get some more track vids up!
-
I think it's great you're going for a Toyota based conversion and imagine the parts needed for the conversion are cheaper and like you said easier. The k20 is a fantastic engine but the 2zz is really underrated.
-
Pm'd ref emanage. What brakes are you running?
-
Looks lovely mate really nice job. What spacers are you running?
i bet you get people thinking its a glanza at track days. They'd probably be even more surprised on track if it looked like an NA and you were staying with them ha ha

I'll take the braided lines mate pm sent
-
I'll see how they stack up price wise against the kumos as I havnt looked at prices yet but definitely an option
-
If I didn't already have an sr I'd have been hounding you to let me buy it. You won't struggle to sell it if that's what you decide to do
-
How much are they per corner mate? I had khumos on the gt4 and they were brilliant- didn't wear out too quickly either

Really want to get it sorted but I want to get everything on it first as there's no point in getting it aligned to then get it done again
-
Hi mate would you do just the gear knob? Also do you have the brakes from it?
-
Do you have any brakes for sale mate?
-
I'm wondering if something's wrong with mine then as it feels a little unpredictable and wayward. It's got apexi springs on instead of the tte's. The rear strut brace has helped a lot though. Got an anti lift kit sat in the garage and will be getting a rarb too. My tyres are pants and I bet the tracking out so that'll be why it feels a bit sloppy
-
Hi all, as stated above in good condition- cash waiting
-
What handling mods have you done? And what brakes?
Mines still pretty much stock sr set up with front and rear strut braces so just collecting parts to fit all at once so I can get a laser set up. I'm hopfuly getting levin twin pots next month
-
Awesome mate and brilliant vid really shows that a lot of it is down to driver ability. Def agree with you about sorting the handling first before adding more power- that's my plan.

Welcome back mate and of course I loved the black sr!
