ive always done it, manifold, sealing ring, wastegate, then screamer out the bottom (no gaskets as im vband)

Looks like you've attached the screamer pipe to the manifold then put the wastegate on the end? Effectly relocating it. Wastegate goes straight to manifold with sealing ring. Then screamer off that

Seal rings sits against the manifold and wastegate?!

Traffic lights are pretty unavoidable and no one wants to be in them........ But because you go on a track you are putting people down again. Like the extingusher again.nothing wrong with being over safe

How well has the turbo wastegate penny been welded to accomadate the wastegate?

bought a set recently and the passenger side is shit! missing the bulb housing and lense is filthy and scratched

Take the air filter off And block the inlet with your hand or a piece of plastic and see if the car cuts out

Definetly a leak somewhere i reckon. Any shaft play on the turbo? Use the trick socks mentioned on herr. Removed air filter and block up the turbo inlet. If the car cuts out you have no boost leak, if it doesnt you should hear it

Tfs are the same on the cold side but smaller on the exhaust side. Thats what ive been led to believe anyway. Good up to around 1.2bar while a td04 will do 1.4bar

Im in the same boat. Dont want a hks mushroom, dont like the looks and read that they are really restricitive? -
Boost still shouldnt come in that late. Boost controller wont drop the spool by 2k revs to around where it should be. Got an issue somewhere

Check for boost leaks, make sure the turbo is healthy. Weak wastegate spring. Boost controller should help, instead of an actuator it controls the external wastegate
