  1. After a week of no car due to a blowing manifold which turned out to be a shagged thread on the engine not holding the stud. After today tapping a new thread the car is running spot on. And on the plus side no boost creep as of yet!! Long drive tonight to rekindle some love
  2. Yeh think i added you before buying a glanza... Id be up for a meet with all you guys
  3. I meant a 10mm drill bit to open up the hole. All sorted now and cars running sweet!!
  4. Going to tap up to a m12x1.75 will a 10mm be sufficent for this?
  5. i am a bit cautious about going to the next bolt up tbh. Helicoil sounds less daunting to someone with little experience
  6. Now its switched round really, white people are now victims. During the time many white farmers were shot for land etc, similar to in Zimbabwe. Its still not a fair country and far from safe. Mandela fought for freedom etc but still made close friends with alot of dictators including gadaffi
  7. theres a 'cruise' in Cheltenham every Sunday around 7 and a few in Gloucester but nothing huge.. Group of us have a webpage onewheelpeel.co.uk and a group on facebook. We're gonna start organising small meets through there soon.
  8. Turns out I have stripped the thread where the manifold stud screws into So have a few questions: >What metal is this part of the engine? >Best solution, tap to a bigger bolt or helicoil? >I have also seen some Loctite thread locker, and reviews are great. Anyone tried this stuff and found it good? Supposedly can repair stripped threads holding to the bolt up to 128lbft
  9. The issue is with what you are taught in school! Started to google some of his actions etc after he died, turns out they missed out a lot about him. Do some googling on the 'other side of Nelson Mandela' and it will change your opinion..did with me.
  10. Ahh yeh remember you saying? How you finding it?
  11. Hot pipe i think you're getting at bolts to turbo then silicone hose to intercooler
  12. Will do.. Was considering selling after christmas
  13. Yeh its turbo, its relatively quick haha. Get used to the speed though and just spend and spend making it quicker. Not running atm has have a rounded thread on the manifold so blowing like mad
  14. yeh man i've been to a few of there little meets.
  15. they don't have coilovers really can't be bothered to take everything apart again, is it easy enough to take the manfiold off leaving turbo in place and supporting it while tapping?Or is it one of those shortcuts that is gonna take earlier.
  16. Find me on facebook too dude its Ollie Haynes
  17. yeh i went last year to them both, but had an ignis sport then... Check out onewheelpeel.co.uk its a couple of my local mates websites, just started but aim to organise meets etc locally.

  20. I've got a glanza v. Don't think theres many if any people from Gloucester on here, know theres one in Stroud. Where abouts in gloucester are you? what colours your starlet ill keep an eye out
  21. I just printed off the logo onto a3 and cut it out. then tapped the stencil to the intercooler and sprayed. In other news little progress and the want for a drift car could see this going up for sale soon once i've fixed the blowing manifold
