Yeh stock oil feed, ill pick up a braided and new gasket asap!!

Ahh yeh forgot to tighten one intercooler pipe you just reminded me!! CT9 was second hamd off here. Oil feed maybe leaking as ct9s have studs for the oil feed and then a nut, mine had no studs but replaced with bolts? If i tighten intercooler pipe and bleed radiator hopefully thats my streas gone. Just a leaking oil feed

Also primed the turbo until on came out the return plug! Oil feed is attached but seems to be leaking? Could i have starbed turbo of oil hence no boost and squeeling?

Is a ct9 i replaced with a ct9...waterlines were leaking at turbo as one stud on the water feed had snapped, so blocked them off. Did bleed it by heatets on leaving idling at temp, maybe i need to do it for longer? Could no boost be down to one bolt missing on manifold??

Basically replaced the turbo on friday and thought all was okay. Had problema today: >one manifold bolt is missing, to be replaced monday >have bypassed water lines for turbo, put silicone pipe from in and our port on engine is this okay? >exessive coolant in pipes still attached seems to be boiling off? >turbo boosted for a bit, now just makes a squealing/squeeking nose >exhaust gas is leaking from all the bungs on the decat, lambda hole etc? >noplay in turbo but seemed to be smoking alot >temperature gauge is at normal warm temp, but heaters not that warm >steam comi

Seems silly but check wheel bolts!!

If the new ported turbo isn't creeping i'll be buying a relocation kit!!

Yeh ported the wastegate just gotta put it back on Now!!

Got a bit bored today so made a stencil for the intercooler... I know its bad as the intercooler isnt real blitz Centred the stencil without the bumper on But with the bumper on its not in the middle of the gap

Basically bought a replacemeny turbo so i could port the wastegate. Swapping them over tomorrow and heard i may need to prime the turbo or something? Any help would be great

there is nothing to drill holes into, i'l have to photograph the back of the bumper to show

Still stuck with this... my bumper has no holes for mounting or anything. Need to see a pic of a bracket made up or how others have mounted them.

2. is the idle control valve

it has a brand new sensor in it, have recrimped it again as before it wasn't the best. now to see if it makes any difference

Wondered if anyone had some kicking around nearly new etc? New prices are insane in my opinion!!

I have a replacement turbo to put in, hasn't been rebuilt just came off another starlet. Will i have to do something like this when i swap them over?

Got a week off so doing a few car bits. Ported the ct9 wastegate now just need to put the turbo back on and hopefully it works!!also went mad with some spray cans and tidied up the engine a bit

Id be intrested in them after xmas if still there

If you only do town driving won't that mean you'll never see boost on a td04 haha? Have to do some motorways then dude!!!!!! Im still fannying around with the ct9

Cheers mate :thumbsup:haha First time I've sent a bumper and have heard horror stories...like to be safe rather than sorry and I kinda enjoyed wrapping it!

again 16"s on the back dropped 40mm or maybe more..4 people in my car on coilovers around 40mm maybe more and 16" wheel it would rub occasionally until I rolled the arches back. Reckon you'd be alright with 15s and 40mm springs tbh.
