Yeh i get that there are cars worse on fuel,.. But thats not really my point, what im trying to say/ask is that 26.1mpg is bad for a glanza driving gently. Id expect 3.5 v6 and big bmws extra to be bad on fuel. Not a lightweight 1.3 driving gently!!

Driving economically surely it can do better than that though??

theres a JAM on here for £550... also spotted a jam for £500 and a emanage blue for £210 on the starlet facebook page

Fair price..i'd be interested if i had that sort of cash. Can see most people going for td04 instead though unfortunately

I only have the lambda "pre cat" then bunged afterwards...was told the second one wasn't needed. On a glanza isn't the second lambda just a cat temperature sensor?
-
Surely a decat shouldn't alter the fuel mixture that much? The lambda is before the decat so surely the readings wouldn't be that different than if there was a cat? I understand it would smell slightly richer but it seems a bit extreme. Definitely leaning towards lambda

that not sure what cars they had, but tbh I wouldn't want to jump start someone elses off mine if i owned a newish car i worked hard for! Sounds selfish but even if there is no damage i'd still be iffy about doing it. I had a flat battery and completely understood my parents not wanting to jump me...both have new cars, one a bmw one a Toyota

Was this the white one with a side exit, and purple rear strut brace? If i t was the kid who was looking to buy it tweeted me a while back when i was looking at buying it too . ill dig around and see if i can find him

noticed this morning how rich it smelt..thought it was because it was cold. Drove to work and still smelt rich even when warmed up so gonna replace the lambda

Anyone know anywhere we could organise a rolling road day for the South West? Would be good to meet up and get a dyno run out. I just don't know anywhere that would do it haha
-
Just unsure if its worth replacing lambdas and replacing all the gaskets etc to find it make no difference to the mpg
-
gonna have to do this!!
-
hmmm im finding it weird that at 132.9 a litre topping up £25 gets me 3/4 of a tank haha, definetly sounds a bit dodgy...unless the last quarter is £30!!
-
I've never completely filled up..will have to do it and see how much it is it could be i have more fuel left over than I think at the end of a tank...but it says more at the beginning haha
-
£25 from needle being on the empty line gets me about 3/4 of a tank. The needle also sits on empty without the petrol light coming on..then this flickers on and off.

Im pretty sure somethings not right here..current spec on my glanza is: CT9B Turbo Standard Manifold Front Mount Intercooler Decat 2.5 Jperformance catback I know there was a slight leak from the decat which i believe i have solved. Considering replacing all the gaskets as i believe there might be a slight leak of exhaust gas somewhere(would this effect mpg). The car also idles at around 1,000rpm and my tracking is slightly out which i believe may be adding to the problem? Last option is lambda needs replacing after changing cat for decat?? can't remember my mpg before the
