This may seem like a silly question but Ecu wise what's the main difference between a piggyback and a plug and plug I'm looking into the Greddy one I'm under the impression this get mapped where as the plug and play is exactly what is says on the tin? I am looking to develop the car further but at the moment I just want more power to play with on a track! Are plug and plays any good imagine they just crank the fuelling up so it runs rich all the time? -
Didn't really know where to post this so sorry if it's in the wrong place! Basically I am aiming for the 200bhp mark and I know there is a guide but I would like to know what I have left to do and questions about mapping etc so bare with me. When I got my car it was basically stock since then I have changed/added FMIC No bov No air filter or piping full stainless exhaust 2.5 to 3" Decat Manifold NGK performance plugs Also had a full service will oil and coolant change belts etc etc so I think it's ready for some more power What is left to do I'm guessing I will need different injecto

Mine is doing the exact same thing, I'll temporarily removed one of the vacuum pipes behind the intake manifold which means it now idles at around 800-900 when warm, if you want to try it its the long black plastic pipes that goes to the carbon canister? then then to the intake has a small rubber bit of the end so it bends and fits. If I put the pipe back on it will idle lumpy as at 500rpm when warm

Having a warm idling problem is very lumping around 500 rpm it was fine a couple of days ago just after I washed the engine I waited a couple of days thinking I may have got my distributor wet but it is still happening. Pulls fine and boosts really well! Any ideas?

Just redone the head gasket put all back together along with a new manifold and front mount and no bov blocked the pipes. Problem is its idling at around 500rpm and seems to take for ever to spool and its jerking while it does feel really flat felt better before with a cracked head :\ any suggestions?

Bought a cylinder head, packaging was incredible very very well packed. He had even taking the time to number each shim so they didn't get mixed up. Arrived the very next day and kept me up to date every step of the way would happily buy anything from him again. Really top job cheers Andy

Yes I am currently looking at that option, proving difficult to find someone that does TIG/MIG welding
