I have an external wastegate set up with screamer. I'm meant to be running spring pressure which is an 8psi spring I'm getting a ebc soon. What sort of things am I meant to be checking? I might add that the wastegate opens at like 4.6psi and there you get the scream :S Just out of curiosity where so people run the vacuum line for their boost gauge? Help would be much appreciated!!

Basically what happens if you leave the side nipple open? With the side port on is very slow
-
Had an external wastegate for about a month and the guy that did it left the top and middle/bottom nipple open and blocked the one off from the turbo housing. Since then I have read you need the bottom nipple connecting to the turbo housoing I've done that but the car feels different and slower. Previously the wastegate didn't open till about till like 5k rpm now it opens eariler is rtgisd normal?

Anyone know if Mondeo callipers fit as a friend has them for sale with focus ST discs. I know the is a focus brake conversion you can do. Obviously machining will be needed but is there much?

I have, the earth is fine using the same earth as the boost gauge which works no problem :s

Any ideas I've wired the boost gauge in and its fine these are temp gauges so want the wiring to work before I get better gauges Any ideas I used the ignition live from the CD player

Right I understand now thank you very much staying very much away from them don't fancy an engine rebuild anytime soon

I've read a few times one her that aftermarket rev limiters are bad for these engines but I've never found bout why, would quite like the theory and is it bad for all engines or just these. I get how they work by cutting the spark and still fuels. Surely that just gets pushed through the engine into the hot exhaust?

The audio isn't great but you get the idea

Right I have yet to Jack the car up and turn the wheels see if they both turn but have been told my car has an LSD green driveshafts if that changes anything? On full lock or just turning right theres a knocking assuming its the CV. So that will be passengers side driveshaft I need isn't it? Do I need special driveshafts and where do I get them from? Cheers in advance
