  1. Before I start I know a piggyback would be better but I'm want to work with what I've got! (ECU V.R.F V300 plug and play) I am wanting to try to see if it will run a TD04 what will I need to try this? I have a wideband and boost gauge to monitor that but will I need to up the fuel pressure? Bit of a silly question but am I just keeping an eye on AFR when on boost to make sure it's not too lean? And gradually uping boost pressure?
  2. While I was doing a track day the engine management light keeps coming on after a HT lead popped off. When I've done the code reading it was 51 I've read what stuff if could be but how do I go about checking TPS sensor or the AC supply thingy? Any help will be welcome!

Starting to get fed up after swapping to Speedvision cams cold starts idling at 1500rpm sounds like it's missing (I know it will have a lumpy idle anyway but it's different) once warm it's fine drives quite nice but it just won't let me boost past 4500rpm(when at operating temp) it will rev passed it half throttle. Am I right for thinking TPS logically I can't see it being plugs rotor arm etc as its when its cold and they haven't long since been changed! I miss boost please help
  4. Can the expansion tank not just be relocated out of sight? Or does it have to be close and roughly the same height as the fed from the radiator?
  5. No speed in particular, normally it's around 70 mph
  6. Not sure it's just exactly the same experience as boost cut, very violent cut, Big Bang out of exhaust and the engine management light comes on for a bit
  7. It's a H.R.F V300, it did remove fuel cut, it's only started happening since having the cams fitted
  8. I've just had them fitted it took some doing getting it timed right after everything was timed the ignition timing needed re doing keep try man it's definitely a learning curve to get it right
  9. I've been adjusting the idle with the screw but like it's been said the idle is so unpredictable at the moment
  10. My car seems to hit a fuel cut on full boost with a plug and play ecu at 10psi when putting it in diagnostic mode there isn't a code it just flashes constantly, any ideas?
  11. Had cams fitted the timing and ignition timing has been set but the idle is all wrong cold starts it want to idle at 800 and hot it is about 1100 of you're driving and dip the clutch feels like the car is going to cut out
  12. I didn't think you would see much of a gain on our starlets but i guess I just like the idea of getting the engine the run at its best running older intake temps Interesting, keep me updated im still looking into doing it
