Went over 2 massive pots holes one had black ice over it then wrapped it round a tree only doing 40mph

in the end i decided to cut my front bumper some of you will hate me for it but i like it also painted the crash bar blue bumper on the car opinions?

i have a white gt and i was considering cutting the front bumper out abit as you cant really see the front mount and getting a splitter to smarten it up slightly. what are people opinions on this? has anyone done it to theres? how it looks abit the minute (need a new number plate lol)
