My mate had the same problem, changed the gasket to a decent one and has been fine since. They fray apart are cause a ticking sound his was mani to turbo i believe.

Hello, new member looking to buy a starlet in the next couple of month and was recommended to come on here. Having just sold/taken a deposit on my r sport impreza (to be picked up in a couple of weeks) last night i thought id start looking around for one Currently have an A3 2.0T petrol s-line. Having loved my mate rob's (Rbz) glanza v on here since the day he got it I've wanted one! Never fails to put a smile on my face every time i get in it so its only a matter of time before ill be buying one too!
