  1. I've checked the pulley and it is just the inside one and not the outside one that is loose, I gather that this means it's the rubber that has degraded or slipped? Anybody know how I can go about fixing it; parts, processes, tips etc
  2. I've been driving on it for a while now and never causes much of a problem, just noise really
  3. Thanks lads, I'll get take a look when I have some spare time
  4. @rmsnoel Do you know of anyone where I can source said part? It didn't really bother me at first but now it is getting quite loud and annoying. So just want to fix it up. @symoep91 Seems all normal to me, but it's an old car with stiff suspension so what defines normal is debatable really aha
  5. @adamb I'm fairly sure it doesn't have forged pistons, I got it completely standard off an older fella. Would that be causing the pulley to wobble side to side? Also if I put the heaters on full blast whether hot or cold it causes it to rattle considerably more. @patman I'm thinking of taking a drive down south sometime soon, so would be good to meet some fellow starlet owners. Haven't really seen any from around here although possibly a moderator on here is from near me? Brighton isn't far from crawley though and haven't been to the beach in many years.
  6. I've had my starlet for a good 7-8 months now and Its had this noise as long as I remember, when I start it up there's a sort of rattling noise but it used to go after It'd had been warmed up. A friend of mine identified the problem as the crankshaft pulley, it appears to wobble side to side and that's supposedly what causes the noise, and up until recently it's been fine but now it constantly rattles, hot or cold and I can hear it when I'm driving where as I couldn't before. Any ideas as to whether it is in fact the pulley and if so how I can fix the problem? Thanks in advance Sam
  7. If you're still doing this I'll have an N/A EP91 in Green

  9. I'll take the brake setup, if you still have them at the end of the month
  10. Thanks pal, will have a look
  11. If I was looking for better braking on my na, should I buy glanza calipers for the front and just upgrade the front, or should I do a rear axle and have discs on the back? Sorry for my naivety but don't want to do the 'wrong' thing.
  12. Looking to source some standard ep91 springs for shocks, starlet or glanza don't really mind. PM if you can help
  13. Looking for an exhaust or backbox for my n/a starlet, pm if you have anything decent
  14. Wanting some ep91 sr, glanza or paseo clocks, cash waiting
  15. I have a 1997 starlet sportif on 40mm springs but standard shocks (both brand new) and earlier today I noticed the piston in my rear offside strut was sticking up about 4inches, and my rear nearside about half an inch. The top mount is evidently broke and so needs replacing and a little strengthening work doing on it. Will the rear top strut mounts from the 1993-1996 1.3ltr starlet fit okay? I can't seem to source the mounts for my year, well not a feasable price anyway. If anyone can help at all, would be much appreciated.
