Have had a look and found and fair bit of info now, just one think i cant really find any definitive information on is what to do about the fuel pump, with the 1e having a mechanical one what should be used for the 4e? some sort of inline fuel pump?

I thought 2e was only efi? i know 1e is definitely carburetor only

Pre posting I did a lot of searching and could only find 1 topic on 1e to 4e, 2e to 4e is more common but not really any help

Currently have a ep80 with the carb'd 1e, was going to convert to efi 4efe but going to have to just swap the 1e for a 4e and keep it carb'd (more than likely), any idea as to what size main jet id need for the carb? and anyone know whats involved to put it on bikecarbs? Any help is appreciated. Thanks Sam

So basically my ep80 has a halfrad as standard which is handy for a civic rad replacement I had planned, however the distance between the two mounts is too big for a civic rad. So I need a new bottom radiator mount so I can have one welded in the correct position. Ive contacted toyota however the ep9 and ep8 bottom mounts are discontinued, does anyone have one spare in decent condition, or does anyone know anywhere I can get one, or does/can anyone make something that'll do the job? So have managed to get a day off of Uni work and work work, to do some of the starlet. Fitted an old steering wheel I had lying about as well as a Momo boss and D1 spec removable boss Also fitted front GT turbo seats, do have the rear ones however not got round to fitting them as the alternating weather. Had to fit the old seat belt clasps as the ep80 has some real fat buckles for some reason. Also managed to fit the underseat tray from the ep80 seats to the GT turbo seats which is handy. Car is currently on 98325miles (my benefit more than anything) Also have some rear GT T

So after a little turn in my car direction, I am back with another starlet (no.7/8) Still haven't got many pictures of it as Its currently parked at my mates, as I have no room on my driveway yet. Its a UK spec EP80, 1ltr carb'd I have a few plans for it but firstly its getting rid of the small amount of rust on the rear arches and get an EFI 4e in there Also, apparently my car has asbestos in it? Has anyone encountered asbestos in an ep80 before and if so, where is it? Id very much like to avoid playing with that stuff
