Looking for an ep81 or ep82, can be in any condition, can be in a scappers if you know of one. Just need a donor car for my ep81, so I can convert to efi from carb.

So the best idea would be to get a P8 efi donor car and swap over everything, I assume that means the layout is too different between p9 and p8s? Could be an idea but It would want a good basis for any engine ideas, so probably efi would be better

I was looking to get hold of an 85 loom and maybe ecu, the main things are the fueling side of things. What would I need for that?

So, last week I purchased another starlet to add to my collection. It's a 1.0 ep80 on carb and want to convert it to efi, im not sure what engine I want to put in it yet 4efte or go for a 5e or a jdm 4e or whatever. What will I need for the conversion? I have a spare uk spec ep91, am I able to take or use anything from that? Hoping to gather a concise list of parts and maybe a tutorial of how to for anyone in the future. Thanks Sam

I think because of the Australian import laws where they cant import a car that's been sold in their country, they can only get halfcuts, mostly from japan i think. Ive seen it a couple times with different cars

Its to do with the alternator and or battery, the alternator itself isnt 100% correct for the car however is compatible. Its probably just a case of swapping over the terminals at the rear or something but i just dont have the time to fix it

It has an 11months MOT on it chief, and i dont really have time to sort the problem with it unfortunately; Im away at uni so not easy for me to get back. Just banged it up for that price but it is very negotiable

Is it just the ecu that is required to make the uk spec engine 100ps? or is the whole loom required

So about 3 weeks ago my engine started knocking and so I need new bearings putting in and what not, could do with it being rebuilt anyway. So can anyone recommened anywhere to get it rebuilt in or around nottingham? Could take it to a local garage but I wouldnt trust them with it Thanks in advance, Sam
