Wheels look fantastic, believe they're Volk Super M's? You didn't get them off Sam Drew by Sandbach did you? I'm sure he had a set to go on his MX5

it is terrible as it gives you access to anything Japanese - prostitutes, sake... Sexy Jag, check eBay and Pistonheads, they usually have something there, or Driftworks too, or buy my wheels - I'll accept sexy hugs

They charge 20% of the final auction price, so figure in £450 already for the wheels, add in handling fees and then delivery...and...yeah They're good, and quick, but, umm, so would anyone else if they charged per mortgage payment

I've got a pinhole....hole, on my manifold, in a gap between the collector welding - but no cracks, even with heatwrap for a while, running it unbraced for a long while. They are well made, and the runner materials are thick - only issue I had is that the turbo outlet for the fmic fouled on one of the runners so I had to saw off a bit of the flange, otherwise, fine. -
It's been done several times - they are essentially the same head, the only difference being the camshafts and obviously the valve lifters. Gains are definitely to be had, but as for actual objective results, I at least have not seen any - Toby of ToyTuning used to claim about 15-20bhp gain on a stock 4E-FTE. But yes, more lift/duration (can get exact figures easily), and they generally improve the powerband in the upper rpm range

quite like the MK1's, and this one looks splendid

As per TGTT: Haha, I've recently been attracted to bearded dragons and the like! Don't think he'd mix well with the Siamese: Bit of a party animal...that kills shrews, mice, slow worms, and chases foxes (no joke) for fun

Bearings are pressed into the rear discs - so you need GT/Glanza

The more horizontal it is, the less effective the bar will be as the less force will be applied to the bar (basic moments - a perpendicular force creates the greatest force) - it needs to be perpendicular to the plane of the bar itself

There'll be some compensation in the ECU but otherwise as Ste says, its a placebo - the increased octane rating means the petrol itself is more resistant to detonation, which as a result means you can run more advance timing to create wider/more expansive flame front on combustion, hence a fuller, more complete combustion. And the ECU won't map itself to achieve that, what it will do is release some timing if it was pulling back if there were some minimal knock detected. Higher octane petrol doesn't add power, it allows for it
