  1. Lovely Bussey,

what figures are you making at the minute?

    How you finding the turbo?

    Phil

    Thanks mate :)

323bhp at the moment, 1 bar at 4600rpm and rev limit at 7500rpm so it has a very useable powerband. Defiantly taken some getting used to though haha.

She's off the road for a while now, as I sort a few things out, diffrent inlet, diffrent intercooler route, mapping etc.

Don't get me wrong I'm so happy with the power at the moment, but you always have to chase somthing more

  2. worth doing your own brake lines and fittined an after market adjustable bais valve on the rear means you can dail in your front/rear braking balence for the track.

Already ordered a bias valve mate, getting so some else to set that up though, that's a bit too technical for me haha

  3. New tyres went and happened.

Someone local was selling some near on new (5 laps of a wet drift track near me) NS2-R XL soft compounds. For the price of 140 quid I had to snap them up.

First thoughts after having them fitted was 'meh there not that good'

Second thought after getting heat into them......'what the fu*k this car can corner this quickly'

Awesome tyres, really have changed the whole feel of the car. By far the most enjoyable mod I've done in a while.

Would defiantly recommend them. Noticed the change in the way the car handles a lot more than my BC's

  4. Clearly says I have 8k no 50 quid I thought this site was for help and people showing off there cars and no for bellends to be wide......

Engine forged with headwork - 3k

    350bhp + turbo kit - 2k

    Standalone and mapping - 2.5k

That's money gone already without LSD, clutch, good brakes, intercooler, fittings, good tyres, inlet exhaust and the rest.

Adds up to more than people think. Like said above it's the little things that add it up. Then you need money to insure it, drive it, fix it.

You would enjoy it a lot more of you did it over time, all part of the fun then.

  5. Obviously theres gotta be more to it than that and im not aiming at anyone specifically but theres a certain trend of spending 10-15k and enjoying the car for half an hour and then breaking!

Couldn't of said it any better

  6. Lol.

People I know with the sickest starlets earn not much, but the money they do earn they put to one side and don't rush.

And I don't know why you would want a 350bhp starlet unless it was for drag racing. There the most fun at like 260-280bho but it seems only a few realise that
