-
Fair play mate! Fair play
-
Biggest difference I've noticed so far is good tyres with rock solid side walls.
-

Got any pictures of your inlets mate? Also can you make custom runner lengths/ diameters? And what does the price work out at posted gbp?
Cheers sacha

Lovely Bussey,
what figures are you making at the minute?
How you finding the turbo?
Phil
Thanks mate
323bhp at the moment, 1 bar at 4600rpm and rev limit at 7500rpm so it has a very useable powerband. Defiantly taken some getting used to though haha.
She's off the road for a while now, as I sort a few things out, diffrent inlet, diffrent intercooler route, mapping etc.
Don't get me wrong I'm so happy with the power at the moment, but you always have to chase somthing more

GTs seem to be dearer than Glanzas in Japan ive noticed. Also youre right aye all those import companies put a huge mark up on their cars.
I know a guy that imports. I wouldn't say the mark up is huge, I'd say it's robbery

worth doing your own brake lines and fittined an after market adjustable bais valve on the rear means you can dail in your front/rear braking balence for the track.
Already ordered a bias valve mate, getting so some else to set that up though, that's a bit too technical for me haha
-
Ive got either a oil temp or pressure one brand still boxed up mate in my garage.
depo racing one think its 52mm
But ill have to check matey
Let me know mate and I'll come grab it ASAP
-
As above- i used the bias valve from a yaris from scrap yard on my glanza to delete the abs
I've got some drinking straws and cellotape at home that will do
-
Delete the ABS yourself. 6 small brake pipes is all you will need and 2 T pieces. Will save a small fortune and its easy peasy.
Cheers mate I'll look into it
-
Oil temp gauge, oil pressure gauge, fuel pressure gauge.
Rear ARB.
Aftermarket inlet.
Rear adj. panhard rod
Abs delete kit.
Cheers

There was a good turnout of starlets last night!! I was in the white one as you were pulling out!
I nodded my head at you!!
Ohhh I remember, that looked really clean mate! And yeah I didn't even think there was that many local
-
Looked awesome at the tunnel run mate
Cheers man, was surprised with how many glanzas were there to be honest, take it you were in the white one I said hi to?

New tyres went and happened.
Someone local was selling some near on new (5 laps of a wet drift track near me) NS2-R XL soft compounds. For the price of 140 quid I had to snap them up.
First thoughts after having them fitted was 'meh there not that good'
Second thought after getting heat into them......'what the fu*k this car can corner this quickly'
Awesome tyres, really have changed the whole feel of the car. By far the most enjoyable mod I've done in a while.
Would defiantly recommend them. Noticed the change in the way the car handles a lot more than my BC's
-
Clearly says I have 8k no 50 quid I thought this site was for help and people showing off there cars and no for bellends to be wide......
Engine forged with headwork - 3k
350bhp + turbo kit - 2k
Standalone and mapping - 2.5k
That's money gone already without LSD, clutch, good brakes, intercooler, fittings, good tyres, inlet exhaust and the rest.
Adds up to more than people think. Like said above it's the little things that add it up. Then you need money to insure it, drive it, fix it.
You would enjoy it a lot more of you did it over time, all part of the fun then.
-
Message Russ, can make savage break setups without paying for the logo
-
Obviously theres gotta be more to it than that and im not aiming at anyone specifically but theres a certain trend of spending 10-15k and enjoying the car for half an hour and then breaking!
Couldn't of said it any better
-
Lol.
People I know with the sickest starlets earn not much, but the money they do earn they put to one side and don't rush.
And I don't know why you would want a 350bhp starlet unless it was for drag racing. There the most fun at like 260-280bho but it seems only a few realise that

To be honest mate I haven't got a clue haha, some times I love it some times I hate it, getting pretty used to it now anyway,
For the more twisty stuff I wind it down to 1 bar anyway
it's a lot quicker when you can actually use second gear haha.
