i reckon your best bet is phone mike and nick at TD and have a chat about your set up and what your future plans are and see what they would recommend if your dead set on using them
James
Ive spoken to them a few times and theyre really helpful guys, offered alot of advice, they recommend the standalone over the EMU...but personally I think its abit over kill for what Im going to do to the car.
-
Why not sell your boost controller, you will pay 500 for a emu with a plug and play harness so put a extra 100 to it and you could buy a link g4+ that will control your boost aswell with a mac solenoid?
I suppose thats an option, theres so many options when you start digging around hahaha

Ecumaster dude couple people running them on here including myself brilliant standalones, rrr engineering give them a call. If you ever upgrade to bigger turbo you already have the management
Where are they based, Im up north in lancashire...not realy heard alot about ecumaster though...infact youre only the 2nd person ive heard mention them. Any info?

If your running a hybrid CT9 on forged engine id say Emanage will be more than good enough for what your wanting
Your be well over 200bhp though!!
James
If its more then thats fine, im not really chasing a number though. I just want smooth reliable power in something that goes like a go kart. You recommend EMU then yes?

What is your set up?
Forged engine running some kind of unusual CT9 hybrid, big HDi front mount and other bolt on parts, apexi avcr, currently on standard ecu with an fcd.
-
Im forged and running a hybrid CT9 and a couple of other goodies so not expecting a million bhp. I just want something fun and nippy as close to the 200bhp mark as i can, but still being pretty reliable. Im stripped out with an LSD and really just building as a fast road car with the odd track day as and when i get time...abit of an all rounder really.

Guys, im stuck between a rock n a hard place. I need to get an ECU sorted on the toy, Im thinking EMU over the EMB as theres more tunability...but ive been told if im going to look at spending that kind of money, im better off just spending abit more and going the whole hog and having a completely stand alone unit and have a custom map put on the car.
What are your thoughts? Am i mad for wanting an EMU? Should i stick to an EMB? Or do i go nuts and get a stand alone? All i know is, im going to be using Tuning Developments as ive heard alot of good stuff about these guys.
Any input is appreciated.

Do you do a similar package for the ultimate?

Hello all. I'm sure this topic has been covered plenty of times and I'm sorry to sound such an idiot but I need some help.
My glanza has a pair of evo recaro seats and they're mounted to some kind of seat base that looks like it should slide backward and forwards, (there's a bar under the front edge of the seats which you would typically pull up to adjust the seat) both the driver and passenger seats won't move at all when you pull on the bar though. What frames and accessories do I need in order to mount my seats where I can move them? Also...how much of a ball ache is it to do, and what am I looking at in terms of cost It's something I want to get sorted in the next couple of weeks.
As always, all helps appreciated.

Cool. I'm right in thinking that 98 was facelift year and changed over to clear lenses. You don't happen to have a part number for the clear lights do you
-
Just a quick question. I have a 96 glanza and was wondering if the 98 spec indicators (clear) will fit on my car. I didn't realise mine originally came with orange until i got my parts from local toyota garage today. I currently have clear lenses on but they look shit next to my new head lights. Answers below please...x

Are we onto ep91 yet? If so add P552jms to your list. Sorned for the next few weeks.

Anybody?

Guys, it's come to the stage where I'm ready to upgrade my ecu. I've been looking at the emb, but recently came across a company in Japan who supply the emu for a very good price. I'm thinking about going for it but I'm just wondering what other parts I need to buy with it...which harnesses etc. There's a choice of loads ranging from about £45 right up in to the hundreds that all do different things. What do I need???

Front lights still available? If so do they have all the clips and brackets intact?
-
So both the one on the left and underneath on the right are idle control? They were already blocked off with what's best described as "tinfoil" what difference does it make over standard?
-

Anybody got any headlights for sale? No cracks or frosting and all clips and brackets in place. Needed ASAP.

PM sent

Im based in colne. Currently having engine fit but should see me attending a few shows? events towards the end of summer.

Does anybody know where I can get some blanking plates for inlet manifold. (Left hand side and on the right underneath) I'm not sure what is being blanked...EGR perhaps, but I already have some cheap shitty botch of a job on there and want to make it look better. Does anybody else have this "mod"?
-
Anybody got a spare speedo drive as mine is smashed.
-
OK...next question. How much oil does it take?
-
OK. That makes sense. Wasn't sure if the diff needed it's own oil. Which oil would be best? Semi or fully synthetic? Also which grade?
Emanage Ultimate or Standalone...

More of a weekend toy. Got a company car for during the week. This is purely for pleasure.
