Hi,
Im looking to see what my 1998 Glanza rep turbo would be worth roughly as realistically i wont be able to drive it until im 25 on classic insurance and being 18, thats a long way away. spec is as follows.
1998 Toyota glanza replica using an irish starlet shell.
Oem facelift front bumper
oem glanza S bonnet
Genuine livesports front lip
genuine varis rear spoiler
oem mid spoiler
reflet rear lights
full respray about a year ago. one of only 2 this colour in the uk and ireland.
Rebuilt 4efte engine. covered approx. 20km (twenty)
oem piston rings
acl rod bearings
oem valve stem oil seals
head skimmed
valves reseated
aluminum dual core half rad
fmic with greddy piping
SS manifold and decat into japspeed catback
tf035hm @wastegate pressure which is.5 bar
mitsubishi fto front seats
98 spec rear seats, doorcards, dash and plastics
genuine trd dial surroud & 98 spec clocks
climate controll
short shifter
full 98 glanza v loom engine, dash and rear. standard engne management
glanza v rear disc axle, glanza front brakes
40mm lowering springs, kyb shocks
15x7 et25 diamond cut alloys new hankook tyres
there is however no mot/nct as it needs a few niggling things sorted.
rhr calliper sticking
lhr handbrake not working
needs a new flexi pipe (have one bought) and a catalitic converter
reverse light & oil pressure sensor switch
passenger side airbag needs wiring in, plug was cut so airbag light is on.
no fault codes and starts up and idles as sweet as a nut. Have built this from a fully standard ep91.You can easilly see 230-240 bhp with management and a map depending on how far you want to take it. full boost at around 2300

Lads my engine & bay could do with a good clean is it safe to power wash it are just leave it be till sometime i have to remove the engine?
Cover up the distributor, coilpack and igniter, fusebox and wash to your hearts content. Just use low pressure and always keep moving as not to drive water into places. Make sure no water gets past your spark plug seals aswell

+1 from me. Superb seller

I got my service parts from that Jap auto for my brakes.
Haven't had any issues, the kit was well supplied and looked great.
I buy pistons from Toyota, but the rubber seals, well there really isn't much to em...
Got a link to it pal ?
-
Its only a few rubber seals and clips at the end of the day. If they werent safe i cant see a reputable buisness selling them
-
I got the rear rebuild kit from toyota 72 all in
Seen another set on jap service parts 25gbp for both sides but its out of stock. And the annoying bastards wont reply
-
Headlight adjusters are cheap from toyota. £7 iirc
Cheers buddy. Nearly 20 gbp plus post a side from id works

In need of both of these pronto. I know Id workz, td etc. Do them but i cant afford toyota prices at the moment

Looking for a lambda sensor (single wire ep91) must be working. Or will take a broken one for the plug

Cheers pal opted for black in the end up as its a lot lot cheaper than the colour of the car haha

I think people use fb just due to its ease. You could maybe look into an app for the forum might get people using it more ? Although id agree that the fb pages are just full of tosh and most are pricks. More group buys member only ? More traders ? I dont know why people dont use it as its full of info and 99% are genuine people

Was thinking roughly around that mark. Ai know i could break it and get a bit more money but ive spent 4 years building the thing i dont want to rip it apart in a week. Ive taken a strong liking to an e90 318i which i can actually drive.
