ye the cars got something like 8 previous owners onit!!haha so its been around a bit, i think the intercooler is the only bit that i re used on the whole car, everything has been changed, i have wired a new loom in, new engine, new gearbox, suspension, and the intercooler is getting changed for a smaller one soon, so that the radiator has more air supply, it was getting very hot on the rolling road!! i was very suprised that the old engine actually ran, there were so few wires actually conected on the ecu, and most very poorly!!!, i decied to rip it all out and start again!!!! the body and pan

thanks!! little stuff like that pisses me rite off, i hate rattles, so if its fitted, its tight, and it cant rattle!! and if theres a bracket that toyota made to hold something, it gets used!! simples!! lol the engine was a st165 version, hence it used a chargecooler system. it got rolling roaded at 220 bhp and engine was completely stock, jus rebuilt to standard specs. went rly well tho.

ye the paseo is a one for one straight swap. no need to change anything, wel maybe the thermostat housing sensors, but otherwise its as simpl as you can get

u can drop a paseo 1.5 5efe strait in i supose, if you can find one, its a strait swap and leaves you with 90 hp. for anymore power you are better off putting a 4efte glanza engine in, or just buy a gt or a glanza and sell your car.

the monts are not the same, as mentioned above the montings are the sama as 4age so the same issues arise!!

did u pick the revs up a little with all the accesories running, if the volts pick up when u bring revs up to about 1500 rpm then theres nothing wrong with it

if the idle is high its usually down to the coolant temperature sensor, or the coolant level is low or airlocked. check it owt

you just tighten it onto the two longest bolts

how is your map sensor piped up. u need to connect a feed from every runner of the inlet manifold onto it, u need to have all four cylinders conected to it.
