  1. My sidelamps and cluster are lighting up when pressing the brake pedal? any suggestions what should i check?

Removing fuse12 and still getting lights on. I removed cluster and shaked al cables and wires to see if there is shorted wires but none worked. im clueless now :(

  2. Hi,

I have some curiosty about knock sensor fault codes. Suppose you have a good knock sensor and its wiring...

what fault code should we get when the engine knocks?

52 is only for no signal..

53 and 55 are KS related but i cannot find reasons of faults.

    Thanks

  3. High idle is surely a leak or some sort of " extra " air passing through the throttlebody. try and remove intercooler pipe and block the inlet with your hand. the car should stall. if not its a leak.

Give a quick check to your idle control valve too. might got jammed open

  4. emanage ultimate. Got An injector adaptor on it that includes resisitors is in it too... hence i thinks thats the reason i didnt fry the injector drives. When chekcing resistance on the adapter got 500ohms on each wire. Guess they are in serious tough.

  5. Hi, i have a question regarding resistor packs. what is the right resistor for 550cc 2.4ohm ( low impedance ) injectors? i got my rc 550cc injectors jn my hand and got two resistors that when tested for resistance its showing 1.2ohm each.

can i use them or no? need a electric guru here

I had asked a similar question when I setup and mapped by emu.

The one response I had was to set them both the same (or both to zero) and just adjust the map accordingly.

As a point of clarification as I understand it, the injector settings in the EMU are used to assist with scaling the fuelling for when injector sizes are upgraded from stock, hence the before and after figures.

I upgraded from stock to 430's and so matched the response time and just updated the flow rate as a starting point. I was then able to adjust the fuel map to suit the correct figures on idle and then mapped for boost from there.

    Hi mate ,

the question wasn t on lag time and injector size .

  7. Hi guys, anyonr can give me more info on logging the injector duty cycle? there is input and ouput duty cycles. what should the numbers be on the two of them. i know that over 80% the "limit" but which one has to be 80 input or output?

    Thanks

  8. Hi ,

As you all know the 4efte ecu has only 2 output channels for the injector pulses. 1&3 and 2&4.

May I ask where is the part where the 2 wires split into 4? i need to fit two resistors on them for my low impedance injectors.

    Thanks

    hi everyone,

I m trying to set up launch contrôl with emu but I doesn't work.

I did like the tuto on this forum: ignition signal instead of rpm signal.

could you guys help me for that.
    thanks

Is it on a gt or glanza mate?

  10. Im getting a huge rpm spike when the fan kicks in or i flicker the bright on the headlamps.

The rpm goes down from 1000rpm to nearly stalling the engine. Infact sometimes it stalls.

Checked the alternator is working.. showing 14v stable.

Any other things i can check?

  11. Hi , im getting low oil pressure on idle.. 15/18psi when fully warm. Im a bit worried and i don't know much was this problem going on as i installed the aem oil pressure gauge few months ago and was always like this since then.

Changed the oil relief valve but still same readings.

Should I replace the pump for safety or can i add some washers in the oil relief valve just to increase the pressure by few psi?

    Anyone did this procedure?

  12. I had my Aem A/f meter for years now. Never replaced the sensor.

I have the emanage ultimate on my ep91 and recently i data logged some pulls and noticed that the afrs oscillated a lot , not showing same on the display.

So i stopped to check if the aem display and on my pc matched. On idle the display shows idling 14.7 steady but on the pc ( emanage ) oscillating from 13.1 to 15 rapidly.

I know that i need to allow .1 or .2 but not that much.

Is that the sensor or the gauge problem?

Im using the white wire by the way 0-5 v and set the emanage from 10 - 20
