Looks well tidy does that, reminds me how mine used to look not so long ago. Actually thought it was mine at first glance as my number plate is almost identical to mine being R387 BYG, proper wierd one digit different.

Where can i buy a copy of this? Never looked for it. Will tesco's stock it or is it more of a specialist mag? Looks like a nice book to read.

My local scrappies have got some early spec glanza seats although they want 100 quid for them i dont really mind paying that much as its only 10 mins away from where i live and would probably cost the same if i got some delivered.
What i want to know is will they be a 100% straight swap no messing out with old and in with the new ones, no cutting pins off or other lumps of metal. I have tried the gt turbo seats, they defo arnt a straight swap and i ended up breaking them anyway.
Do the glanza seats sit lower than the standard N/A seats, this was the bit i liked about the GT seats and can you raise the bottom part of the seat like you can with the GT seats.
The seat belt clip is bolted to the seat on early spec seats right?
Last bit, could someone with early spec Glanza seats get me a picture of the part that is bolted at the front nearest the centre console please? (so i can see myself it has no stupid metal in the way)
Sorry for all the questions, just dont want to end up breaking yet more seats.
Thanks

Check this thread, shows you two options although no one quite knows which punto yet.

Ive got a pic of the block before any wires have moved
By the looks of things the SR cluster is quite a bit different to the paseo clocks and the diagram doesnt look like it would work for these clocks. I think its just going to be a case of trial and error getting it working. Had a quick think the red/blue according to the diagram is the rev & oil try this so it lines up to slots 13 if that dont work try 10. Seems that should be the fix? You must have bendy fingers getting the speedo cable out so many times took me ages to get it out and ages to get it back in.
-
Im beyond confused now. Just put all the wires where they say they should be on the diagram then see if that works. If i remember correctly you should end up with a green wire that plugs into nothing. Try and get some pics or summert tonight might make it all a little easier.
-
Did you get it sorted yet, the wiring diagram clear things up? Is it the same as putting SR clocks in?
-
Yeah there is wiring for the tach, there must be because ive put SR clocks in my sportif. Its a case of swaping some wires. PM me your email address and i can send you the wiring diagram, think ive got a few pics at home too which i could send over. Was only a few weeks back i did mine so its still fresh in my head.

Farmer joe has been growing some R8's .
I do think they look bit like a copy of the Bugatti Veyron though?
-
Not sure if it ever been mentioned before, would it not be better to have a General Chat and a seperate Starlet Chat rather than just a general?
I just think sometimes it could do with a seperate bit where general starlet questions could go that dont fall into any other category so they dont have to go in with all the other bits and bobs that are posted in the general category.
Just a thought

Just heard on the radio that it has been published in the new Highway code that smoking while driving has been listed as a distraction. This now means that you could be done for smoking while driving which could lead to a £60 fine and could technically lead to a ban.
Anyone here do it?
I do, although not too often, if im on a staright road or know the area well then i seem to be more prone to doing it. It seems daft to me, how long until we cant alter the cd player while driving?
Thought this might be an interesting discussion? (probably not if you dont smoke)
-
Im sure ive read of people doing it themselves dont really want to have to post it out again as ive only just got it, what are the consequences of just putting it in with 2000 less miles?
-
I can do this. I've got the tool you need for the back.
Tool? can i not do this myself?
-
Searched and found nothing, ive got a SR Cluster for my sportif but I need to add 2000 miles on (want to keep it as true as possible), could someone tell me how please? If stuff like this shouldn't be discussed on the site can someone please send me a pm.
Thanks

PSP's really are mint, got sat nav on mine, crazy what can be done with such a small piece of technology.
-
That is well harsh hope u get it, and them sorted out! I hate having to park my car at the top of my drive for this exact reason.
-
I have 45 profile tyres, not sure if that makes a difference?
-
Ok so just been out to check tyre pressure and pretty sure its wrong but not sure if its what causing problems. Both left side tyres are at 26 front right at 27 and rear right 28.5. So could this be causing me problems and am I right in thinking the pressure should be 32 all round?
-
Thanks for the quick reply, ill get the basics checked soon as. Quick noob question, can someone tell me what tramlining is please?
-
So I got some Speedline SR alloys a few weeks back finally got them sorted and fitted but now the car feels funny to drive (was on standard steelies before).
Let me try and explain, the steering wheels now pulls all over the place with every little bump i think, but generally more to the left than anything else, it is also harder to turn right than left, like the steering wheel is phsically harder to turn (not like this before). Also earlier today was accelerating quite hard and when i lifted the clutch in 3rd it fully pulled the car to the right, pretty much shit me up.
My question now, basically is this normal now that i have so much more grip (standard wheels were quite worn) having never really driven any other car i dont know what i should be expecting?
Hope that makes sense?
Thanks

Made me laugh a lot, thought someone here might find it amusing.
