  2. For sale: 4x Wiesco Pistons & Scat Rods with Bolts

    Item Condition: Used but Good. 

    Price and price conditions: £350 Delivered - England Only, if overseas I will have to get a price. 

    Extra Info: Used Pistons that have 
    approximately Covered around 40K in milage.

    No Cracks or signs of detonation - Managed 308hp with these and came off my 4E running fine, I will include rings which have around 13,000 miles on them also. 

    Reason for sale is im moving over to a 5E so as everybody knows these are no longer required.

  3. Its not often i post but i just wondered if somebody could possibly point me in the right direction.


    Car starts fine & drives fine up until approx 1.1Bar upwards at around 5-5500 and then i get the engine light coming on.



    I would say 5 seconds after that the light goes out and everything is back to normal, the car doesn't splutter when the light comes on and pulls just as hard as it should.


    I am thinking knock Sensor but slightly unsure, which is why I'm posting this up. i have rev'd the car to around 3500 stationary for roughly 10 seconds but the light doesn't come on also.



    Any help would be appreciated!





  4. I had this a couple of years ago, bit of bad ache as it was dripping fuel on my exhaust as well which is never a good thing but i managed to get a 2nd hand one from a trader on here.



    it was slightly rusty but went to the effort of stripping all of the surface rust off and then coating the entire thing in hammerite to protect it.

  5. I made my own harness and bought the connectors for the EMB end from simtek. its really easy to do once you have the pin outs for the ECU.



    I may still have the paperwork and if anybody wants the pinouts send me a PM.



    In total i think it cost me £12 for the connectors and its a lot cheaper then paying for original harness that does the exact same job.

    Were do I start? I am extremely sad to sell my pride and joy, I have had this car 6 years and it has been used as a family car and has mainly been driven by my wife. Due to the car being too small and constant complaints from my wife I have had to get a slightly bigger car. I’m a mechanical engineer so all the work has been done by myself including mapping and there has been no expense spared. I have spent thousands over the years since I purchased it in 2009 and has been very well looked after. It gets driven very soft for the build and power. (just ask my friends they always complain I drive like a granny). The Emanage is easy to map and made virtually 300bhp on 1.3bar on the Tuning Developments Dyno (298HP to be exact) but injectors are very close to being maxed out at somewhere in region of 91% duty cycle. This engine is capable of a lot more power but standalone would be the way forward for this.
    Bad points:-
    bonnet has a small rust patch
    Rear bumper could do with respray
    Couple of dings but for its age its in good condition.
    Mot is due in April 2016
    Please no tyre kickers, test pilots or people who are going to tear the car to pieces because I’l send you packing. I’m more than happy to take potential buyers to test drive but I’l be doing the driving due to traders policy. I want this car to go to the right person who will look after and enjoy it like I have. No part Ex’s and the car is not been stripped for parts so don’t ask please. The price I’m asking takes into account the small bad points and I think is good value for the car.

  7. I personally have used blackpool road and rally for a crank regrind/bottom end balance for two builds 1 stock and 1 forged.



    Two very good friends of mine have also had work done there also which was crank on vauxhall redtop & bottom end balance - 5efe new little ends on pauter rods and just quite recently a K20 turbo with a re-bore/head/block skim and crank checked.



    a great company to be honest, turn around time can be awkward but they are always very busy.

    Item Condition & Description: Great, Recently rebuilt with parts and balancing work completed by Turbo Force located in Bamber Bridge Which is local to myself. Turbo also has 0 miles on it. Compressor blades have been cut back to help with lag as this is the biggest TD04 compressor wheel you can buy. Compressor wheel size is 50mm inducer/61mm Exducer

    I had the Intent of using the Turbo myself but went down the route of using a TD05 20G.

    Unfortunately i don't have receipts for the work completed as i have just moved house and they have been misplaced.
