At the moment I have to choose between idling at 2k or running rich as hell. Almost a week spending every free second trying to fix it has wore me right out.

How's your GT getting on?

Almost there mate. Everything is all back together...then I well and truly buggered myself. I have to strip it ALL back down and start again. Gutted, is an understatement.

I would say I feel your pain, but at least yours idles. I am livid with myself at the moment. Absolutely livid Thanks for asking though.
