Actually I would imagine that the little box that the black cable screws into is the converter? So just take the box off and screw straight into gearbox?

Is there a common fault with the speedos not working on ep91? It has been converted on the clocks to mph, there was also a black screw on plug type thing on the gearbox that wasnt plugged in properly, screwed that back on and still no speedo, before I start taking everything apart does anybody have any suggestions?

I don't actually need to cut anything off, the intercooler fits fine with the bumper as is, I just want to take off the plastic Behind the number plate, then relocate plate to the near side, seems silly have a nice FMIC if it's covered up by the number plate lol

I have done just that and tomorrow I will have a go at it I'll take before and after photos so everyone here can laugh at how shit I am at any sort of neat or precise practical work -.- wish me luck

what ways have people cut the bits off behind the number plate? i want it to look neat but my access to equipment is not great!!

Sorry for being ignorant but what do you mean when you say speed signal failure?

My engine management light comes on if I cruise at a steady speed in top gear for a prelonged period of time, probably around the 60mph mark, if I turn it off and on it goes away again, if I'm just going around town it's fine, if I thrash around its fine. just when cruising, anybody heard of or had anything like this before?

Yeah has HIDs, I wish it didn't because whoever did it has done a terrible job lights are shit and the wiring is just a massacre, reckon that box could be something to do with the lights then?

Don't know if this is in the correct section as not sure what it is but has anybody seen something like this? It's a little plug in thing that connects direct to the battery and then 3 other cables or wires go off in various directions, sorry I can't be anymore specific than that, it is currently say next to the BOV, if anybody has any ideas I would be very grateful

Thanks for the reply Is there an easy way to check for leaks? It's looks to be a pretty cheap gauge, any recommendations on a good one?

The boost gauge in my glanza only reads 5psi on full boost, it's all fairly professionally plumbed in and I can't work out why it reads so low? Anybody had any problems like this?
