  1. I have new KGB shocks & apex springs recently fitted probs done 100 miles on them then this happened. They was fitted at my local car garage, I asked them if my strut mounts was good told me they was fine, I have gone back to the garage a couple of times since they have been fitted because there is a knocking noise at the rear of my car they said it is probably your exhaust. This happened today. What's bugging me is will the garage charge me again for fitting new struts:-( I hope not. Where can I get struts from ? I have had a look on eBay & it's not very clear on ordering the correct

  12. Teins drop it 57mm & you can get them that drop 40mm loads on ebay, there not to bad with standard shocks just a bit soft, I had them on my old v, the starlet I have now I fitted new KYB Excel-G with with 35mm apex springs & I must say they are spot on for the roads, you get no harsh bangs over pot holes & the car sits very well.

  17. I had a rover mini metro that did this I took the thermostat out & drove it like this for about 12months fine.... It was a daily shed to get me about, I did take it to a car garage & they couldn't find the problem apart from they said your head gasket might be on its way out but like I said it ran with no problems for 12 months with no thermostat in then sold the car on for cheap. So have ago at taking the thermostat out see if it settles.

  20. noticed this on eBay... trader selling it Toyota starlet glanza v & it is a fresh import, how can they make any money? When it costs a fortune to import these days, then you get traders selling them for £5000 to £5500. I have looked into importing a starlet & with all the costs you need about £3500 £4000. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=321791153344&alt=web
