Hi my car as far as I know is all standard only thing I can see is a blitz dump valve so I get the hiss which is fine but then I get turbo chatter sometimes, why is this doing the chatter? Is it ok or can it damage the turbo? How can I stop the chatter sound if it can mess the turbo up.

Hope so, its at the garage to be fixed today.
-
might be a that then, as when I bought the car I got told it has just had new CV boots. Cheers
-
Yeah keep thinking might be mount, its on my list of jobs to do when I get chance will get a mechanic to look at it.

How come this has not sold yet, I paid £2400 for my auto v only two weeks ago, less miles though but yours is still very cheap for manual, they hold there price more.
-
It has had new wheel bearings & CV boots done though just before I bought the car, it's an odd one its ok at first then starts to do it after I have drove it for 1 or 2 miles low bust its normally fine 9 times out of 10 but in high boost you feel it more if I put my foot down. When I bought it the person said to me there is no need to drive it in high boost, lol

cool thank god for that, I'm thinking the worsted like engine might have to come out lol.

Yeah very weak stud, there is no stud thread to put nuts on the stud & yeah my v has aircon, I don't think it has had a service in a long time, it's booked in for cam belt & water pump Monday, the car has only done 82000km same owner from import 7 yr ago bought it off a 57 yr old lady lol, stuck on her drive not getting used so you can imagine everything's stuck tight on it, brakes are naff to.

Has anyone got any advice on how to get a snapped stud bolt out? I was doing a great job today servicing my v, oil filter was a bit of a pain to do, would not budge at first, cuts All over my hands lol, then I went on to do my Thermostat which needed doing, one nut came off fine & one not so fine, the nut just snapped off at the thread, the only good thing I can say is there is enough stud to get some mold grips on it, but my worry is if I try to loosen the stud out it might snap off completely then its a drill out job. What's the best thing to do? Should I take it to a garage & leave

Hello all, I have noticed a problem with my temp gauge, when I'm driving a long the gauge reads nothing but when the car is stuck in traffic it goes up to a quarter? Is this normal.cheers
-
great thanks for info I have seen some that lowers the car about 30mm and that suits me fine from past experience of lowing by 40mm on standard shocks spoil s the ride.

Are they the same fit for the p8 also? It says 89 to1996.

Do ep91N/A lowering springs fit for the glanza v ? Only that I have seen some on eBay & it says for Toyota starlet not turbo.
