  1. Thanks pal:-) yeah bit of a distance for me to go and look at, also I have seen this up for sale before with other owners in the past & might be wrong but looked a bit tired when I last seen it on eBay.
  2. Not really what I'm looking for but what's the mileage on it?. My first choice is a GT, second glanza, had a couple of glanzas in the past so would be nice to have a GT but if a nice glanza auto crops up then I wouldn't rule it out haha
  3. Looking for a nice glanza V auto or GT auto, is there any left around ?. Does anyone know any knocking around still, that could be persuaded to sell up, price obviously depends on condition & would prefer lower mileage one if that's still possible. Thanks.
  4. Only way you will sell this is if you do a starting bid & hope for the best, just cut your losses mate.
  5. But what if you do all this work to it & the money it's going to cost to forge it and you decide to sell up again? Your still only going to get £5 to £6 for it. Just something to think about.
  6. I'm spending more now I haven't got a car🤔 the Mrs is anyway.
  7. I'm not interested in this car myself, not really sure what I'm after getting at the moment or too even bother getting another weekend toy, but I do still like to have a nosey around like you do and I think this car could be a good motor for someone that's looking around for one:-)
  8. With this gt previously been up for sale on ebay, could do with finding out what he wanted for it, you never know could still do a deal before it gets put though Auction. This car might be in someone's past watch list? Tried searching around for past for sale on eBay for a GT but this car is not coming up, must of been a while back when it was on eBay dale? I still can find my old caldina for sale on eBay when I bought it & that's 8mths gone by.
  9. yep, have been thinking the same, some folks cannot see past that, bet it's a good little motor.
  10. I know mate, you got yours at a very good price with it only having 37k, can't be many around with that kind of mileage.
  11. A good standard one like this one got to be worth around the £2500 + mark surely, only getting up to £1500 on eBay is a bit of a low blow to me, I guess some people don't like to bid when there is a reserve on a car.
  12. I'm surprised at that, is the GT just not as popular anymore?

  14. congratulations on your new arrival😃
  15. How can you go out and test drive something like this lol & what's with the front end off to fit another glanza, something wrong with this one lad.
  16. Here mate, tell him not to go for the D2 at £638 they are old stock and them one's are prone to leak.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141446248996
  17. Yeah seen one or two and the paint work is bad on them.
  18. Didn't think you would sell it, it looks a nice motor and love the colour. I'm on the look out for one, GT auto or glanza v auto second choice. Hoping to find a bit of a bargain really if that's still possible not in any rush as it just be a weekend toy.
  19. lol you would think so, might have slim chance of selling it then and dropping the price will help.

  21. My bro has had similar problem with nosey neighbour, got reported to the council, built a garage at the back of his garden for his hobby which is making model traction engines. Now when is this GT of yours coming up for sale:-)
  22. yes you can and probs cost a bit more with them being rarer than auto, tiptronic auto on these cars are very good though no slower plus you change gears on the steering wheel also it will stay in the gear till you change so can red line not like some autos that change it self if it thinks it should be in another gear, my Mrs mini cooper has got paddle shift and it is a waste of time using it, if it doesn't like the gear you have got it in it will change anyway lol.
  23. I had a chat with the guy when it was first up for sale. I asked him what happened to the car from where he got the engine from and any proof that the mileage on the engine is genuine, apparently he got contacts and dabbles a bit on importing parts, couldn't really give any proof about the milage. It does look a very clean motor & engine bay looks clean, worth a view I reckon & a good long test drive.
  24. Shipping to Liverpool can be expensive from what I have been told but this would be your nearest port, southampton port cheapest over here but then you have got to think about car transport, for me to get a car from Southampton it would cost me around £250 to £350 to Derbyshire.
