It wouldn’t surprise me Sam, the GT’s are lovely looking! Next to be done was sorting the interior a bit. There was no rear interior, no carpet and a mismatch of front seats. Got hold of a near complete mk1 interior including a dash that was in better condition. So, every trim was removed and replaced with the interior I got after a good clean. So the time has come to take the engine out of my GT which means, I should and want after a long time to get some sort of a progress up for people to see and comment. January 2015 I picked up my mk2. Needed a lot of love but the price and location was cracking for me. A couple weeks later some changes were made. Standard exhaust and nur spec back box (with massive hole in 😢) were swapped for complete Japspeed cat back to go with the unknown decat already fitted. Cracked standard exhaust manifold swapped for Jperformance unit and, eBay intercoole

I will be ringing td in the new year to order a few other bits so I’ll ask if they can help. Couldn’t see them on their site, just the standard box ones which as you mention are different. Fingers crossed mike can source them. cheers for the help nick

So, engine is out for a standard rebuild/bay freshen up. I’m aware the the evap can be binned. Question for those that have been here, what else can be deleted to lessen the load on the appearance? I’m only going for speed vision ct9, wepr external gate. All inputs appreciated Thanks, Tom

Hi all, hoping someone with experience can help. I'm looking at buying the Roose motorsport ancillary hose kit. Does anybody know if the coolant pipe at the back of the engine and, heater hoses are part of the set? Many thanks, Tom

I will only be running a speed vision ct9, external gate, but would like to keep true tabs on what is happening. The plx is an American product from a brief search? Is there a UK distributor? Hey all I am putting plans in place to take the engine out of my GT for a basic rebuild/tidy up along with changing to external wastegate. Once this is done I would like to put some mappable management in place. Question being, does anyone from the southern region have any recommendations for a mapper and what ECUs they are familiar with? many thanks, Tom
