So, two days ago I got my first car, a little EP91 with 219000 kms I'm a student so, as you might know, we don't have loads of money and one day I was browsing and I found one for 400 (trailer trip included to my house) but, it's price brought something... It was hit on the driver's side so I had to replace the wing and the door, finding a door and a wing for a starlet in France was hard but I eventually got it... The scrap The replacements First mod! Got the speedo with tacho at the wreckers too, direct swap! Swapping odometers first! Old NEW! I'll keep this updated!

Just a matter of letting it dry then? I just got the car, I'll eventually change the plugs and the leads

So, today I washed my engine bay and after that I started the car, everything was fine, then it reached temperature and the noise changed, now, when I rev it, from idle to 2k rpm it chokes and shakes, it's fine at higher revs though... could it be my leads/spark plugs? or is it just because I'm low on fuel on an incline? Hi guys, yesterday I swapped the door from my starlet as the other one was mangled, the door I got had all electric stuff so I removed everything and installed the manual bits, all went fine but now, As I try to reinstall everything, the door handle inside the car doesn't work anymore... I can't put it in place without the damn thing springing open... can't use it, Is there something I missed?

So, I got it, the engine runs fine, it has some issues though, driver's side door is hopeless (I can get them cheap like 20€), rear C pillar has rust on the inside, engine bay has no rust whatsoever and finally, the one that worries me the most, the rust under the rear brake light... to the pictures! The left door that is going to be swapped: What worries me the most: And that's it, there's other little thing like, need to source a front bumper and grill and fix some dents... The engine bay is really tidy, I'm surprised there's no rust here... That is all

I'm buying it this sunday, any common rust spots I should look for? There are some dents on the body but that is easily fixed, the engine's condition isn't important as it'll be swapped, anything else I should be aware? Thanks

Best part, 365€ xD first thing to change would be the wheels, with the ones on my avatar, then a 2E swap with bike carbs, 2E's are cheap in portugal, 200 gets you a full engine with gearbox xD

I'm trying to make a solidworks (CNC) model for a 2E exhaust flange for custom headers, I have the gaskets for dimensions but I need this measurement: If someone with easy access to the head or the heatshield could measure this and tell me, it would be great (distance between the exhaust ports) I'm thinking about something like this for the flange but I need the correct measurement for the reinforcement in the middle: This design might be easier to make: EDIT: Done a rough prototype, no exact dimensions yet:
