Its about 400ltr tank bucket, i wanted the bigger one but couldnt find it at the time. Some lions do get massive, he still has a bit of growing to do. The aptasia x is good but takes too long, and with lions its a bit risky, might have bleached the rock if you were using too much. Didnt play with the renas much so cant remember if they have button to prime or if its just suckion but the pinciple is the same. Connect it all up with all media inside, place the tubes into the tank with water covering them, taps and fittings and get into position. Open the taps and push mechanism to self prime the filter, Allow all the air to come out, you know when this is done best if you have the return pip in the water in the tank and ou will see all bubbles coming out. Once all air out switch on at wall and bobs your uncle. keep you old filter running along side your new filter for a

External are much better than internal yeah. What make is the filter steve? If i know which it is ill give you the best way mark
