For some reason the 200w heaters are dearer than the 300w heaters, normally id say go for 300w, wont be missed, but i dont think the piping off your external filter is big enough to take it: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=hydor+heater&_sacat=0&_dmpt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Fish&_odkw=external+tropical+heater&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1311
Just turn powerhead and filter off bro, let everything settle, very gently pull the plant outof the gravel from the base of the plant, you will soon feel how well rooted it is, replant it and turn filter and powerhead back on after an hour or so
Yeah she will prob have to order them in bro. Aye well you would just have to keep an eye on the levels, ph, no3 and no2, more often, possibly even water hardness, ask tomas or even: http://beeshrimp.co.uk/keeping.php
Bro I would keep the blue bulb in and change the other 3 probably so you can still get that night time look, though that bulb will need changed before long too. Just had a nosey at his site again, some great shrimp
Humbugs layer, love it. Well when yo get them sorted get some photos up. Red tails average 6" but Ive come across quite a few hitting over the 6" but its more their aggressiveness that it the issue, just one to keep an eye on
Cheers mate but i would say p+p on something so big from london to ayr wouldnt be worth it. Also lip would possible lower the back too much, wanting to level the car out a bit. Thanks
