So my car is a 97 on a R, so ill need a glanza from 96-97, Stripp out full dash loom, engine and engine loom and swap with my n/a stuff. What about the looms for the rest of the interior does that not interfere with the dash loom? Just wanting a list of parts so i run into as little problems as possible, as i need it done as fast and smooth as possible. Would it make much difference if i took one from a auto glanza? or will that give me more work? Thanks Gary

Right ok, thanks jay, I've got alot more to do than just swap wiring I still have to build my engine, respray whole car, new fuel tank basically replacing everything. I've got 90% of the stuff ready to go but need wiring etc sorted Gary

Cool so in theory if i get a engine loom, dash loom and ecu from a glanza it should plug altogether ok? Im wanting to keeps problems to a minimum a i have like 4 months to do the whole car. Its doing that already, god knows what itl be like when i get stuck in lol

Errrmmm, sorry im double booked , Ye im starting to think its the best decision im making with this build. As far as i know there are none, it just uses the same loom as the 4efte, the only wiring i can think of at this stage is for the new ecu ill need to run one its run in. Its just the 5E block with 4E head so yeh you could say same with different bottom end. Gary

Small update and big change of plan!! Ive have recieved Paseo dials thanks to Galliano and a flocked dash thanks to Clarkie, aslo my Ram style manifold and decat came today from keith @ zisco for the TD-12, My change of plan is i have loads of big events next year starting from april time so i have decided to build a forged 5EFTE for my car, i have been mucked about long enough with my other engine so im going with this build at the start of next year when christmas is all passed. Not really what i had planned but ive spent this much i might aswell spend a little extra and build a forged engine then i never have to worry about reliablility issues. Pictures to follow of parts and engine build when it starts Gary

Cheers Jay, When doing conversions to 4efte, can you not just change the uk dash, engine loom and ecu for jap ones without wire swapping or splicing? Does it not just all swap over, I'm sure I've seen people just swapping all looms or am I wrong Gary
