I can get the valve clearances from the 4efe from work but I'm at college until tonight, If everyone says the 4e cans are the same I'm guessing the valve clearances will be the same I'll see if anyone else knows but I'll look more into it for you Gary
-
Lmao! That's weird man. Never heard anyone say that before Gary
-
Ideally any change to valvetrain, you should check valve clearances whether it be cams, valves, springs etc. I'm not sure where to get the valve clearances from and not sure if they are the same as the 4EFE. If the valve clearances are at least checked you will know if they need adjusted, Hope this helps Gary

That's nice buddy, amazing how something so simple can transform your interior. Carbon ftw lol Keep them coming, car is lush Gary

Itl just be a waste of time without the low compression pistons, you could run any boost atol as the whole idea of a turbo is to get as much air into the cylinders as possible, if the pistons are still high compression it will just blow head gaskets and probably more constantly. Unless you fit a really thick head gasket to take the compression down to the standard 4EFTE ratio, plus all the other studd involved, it it was me i would just fit a 4EFTE lump Gary

Hi mate, To be honest im not keen on meshed turbos myself, if you can afford the turbo surely you will be ale to stretch that extra bit and buy a filter, not directing this at you thou mate, There was a member on here that recently had his mesh sucked inside the turbo which obviously isnt a good thin, although it was tight it still went inside. Air filter relocation kits are available from a few places like TM-Developments and Monstor Motorsport, As far as i know you dont need to relocate the oil filter atol, well i have never seen a TD04 with a relocated oil filter due to the air filter.

I recieved this email also, as im not on the site very often i just had a quick look to see what it was about then deleted it, Never really been a fan of TGTT, always prefered this site by loads so i dont even bother with emails from them etc. Gary

There is a thread about OBX manifolds on here somewhere, They are for Paseo engines but can fit with a small amount of modifying, They are hard to get unless you can source one from another counrty, probably best just saving for a glanza if thats what you want Gary

Cheers everyone, Got it sorted now, as Asad says just need to transfer it to the computer in the workshop as my laptop doesn't have a port to plug into the ecu lead I'll let you know how it goes Gary
-
The three gold threaded bits screw over the original oil filter thread ro extend it i think, Gary

Cheers people, That link that you gave me Asad, when i have downloaded it which program should i open it with , as it doesnt worth with Adobe reader, or any other programs i have. Gary

You will need to get a sandwich plate for the gauge sensors to screw into, it goes behind the oil filter, here is a picture of my one, If you fit one to a 4EFTE you will need to grind a bit off the power steering bracket as the oil filter will hit. What type of gauges fo you have? do they have sensors? Hope this helps Any more questions just ask Gary

Hi folks, Just come off the phone with my brother and we are having a little trouble with mapping his fiesta ecu. He has a OMEX ecu and its a 1600 zetec se with ITB'S, OMEX have sent him a base map to get the car running and then it has to be mapped from there, Its all done through a pc or laptop with a cable into the ecu, which i think the EMB has aswell. The file that OMEX sent him is a CAL file?? which i dont no what that means. It also wont open it in any program i have on my laptop, Has anyone heard of these before? Any help or ideas? Cheers Gary
