  1. It will only affect the car with the cat if they can prove it needs one etc, im away to look up emissions flow chart to try and point out which cars need cat test etc so everyone knows. There is already a fail on the MoT system for noise levels but doesnt state a reading etc so its down to the testers discretion. unless its crazy loud it should pass. Gary

  12. It's more that likely your 5th gear selector hub and synchromesh, If you've got the right tools it could be done with out removing the box from the car. If you do remove the box it's only the end casing that needs removed to gain access Gary
  13. Yeah will be ok, only brings on a light if the fluid level is low. Gary
  14. Yeah pretty straight forward. Remove your plug leads and PVC valve hose, undo the 5 nuts and it should lift off. You may need to remove you oil cap to get access to the bolt below it. Also be aware that the PVC valve can become brittle and break easily with age Regards Gary
  15. Does the wire not lead into your master cylinder resevoir, itl be for the fluid level warning switch. Gary
  16. Yeah not a problem. I'll have to double check the price again so I'll get a pm to you on Monday Regards Gary
  17. Yeah we recommend the Genuine Toyota ones which we can supply, also we can supply a budget equivalent which are still great qaulity but not genuine, It's always good for piece of mind to know whats replaced as you never know the cars history or what terrain it's been driven in so any bushes could have premature wear. IMO if the bushes are coming out its just aswell to put uprated ones in as with the age of the car it may take some work to remove them, then after all that it's just standards ones going back in if you know what I mean. Regards Gary
  18. Not unless there is play or damage, they can be change but I don't think I have personally ever changed one. You would need to take your steering rack boot off to replace these so there may be a risk of that getting damaged aswell. There is wishbone bushes and ARB bushes in this area but again not really necessary to replace unless they are damaged or being uprated. Regards Gary
  19. As Asad said its really just track rod ends and bottom ball joints. The guy may be having trouble if there tight as you can only get the open end of a spanner on the nuts. So really easy to round off. If your going for new parts we can supply both of the above parts delivered to your door. Regards Gary
  20. Welcome to the site. Good to see the Scottish community growing Regards Gary
