Hi all I am looking for a non power steering rack to fit a EP91 for my current project Willing to pay postage etc, overall condition not important

Not a great deal of picture worthy progress, The donor Corolla is stripped of parts Also I have purchased a sportif starlet to begin work from Once I clear a few jobs in the next week or so I'll get the starlet in and positioned for work to begin! Aiming to have the engine on mounts in the bay by Christmas!

When would you need payment Matt?

Thanks guys, Yeah I'm gonna try and gain some more power where I can, in non turbo form with some breathing mods it should be quick and I'll concentrate on chassis also as it will be used on track

Some more progress on the strip down of the donor Corolla, also I have found an EP just need to arrange pick up so hopefully in the next week I will have a starlet also

2nd Stu's post, i had the same fault with a mk2 MR2, was a knackered coolant temp sensor causing excess fuel at start and it wouldn't start Or at least it did start when i took plugs out and cleaned but still took a while. Was the thermostat in place when you sent the head away?

So it's been a while since I have done anything on here and I have been after a new project but not much had been coming up Anyways I spotted a cheap Corolla T-sport and decided to do a 2ZZ-GE conversion into a UK ep91 I've not done a heap so far more just planning and thinking but work has begun on removing the old engine and wiring! I've not bought a starlet yet but I'm sure one will pop up when I am ready to mount the engine

Most likely a worn syncro or syncro hub, only way to inspect is to strip gearbox

Out of interest what has been done for the likes of diagnostics on the engine if anything was to give bother? Obvious the Corolla would have had OBD2 diagnostics. Was the Corolla engine loom used and made to fit the starlet or are you not willing to give anything away lol

Back when i had my Sportif, CD dials were a straight swap without any wiring changes and worked no bother
