and where id the idle controll valve.? is it just a case of winding up or down ? so im guessing that it cant be an engine probem?

its a scary thing this as it is a pss take paying loadsa money for something which doesnt envolve much knowledge just determination really. plus knowing once you gone half way you gotta keep going even if it takes much longer than people have suggested. best thing to do is have a mate who has some experience.

does yours click as i have something dodgy with the cv joints but always skint and never got round 2 fixing it.

my car is idleing above 1000 revs and 1.2 to 1.3 depending on the weather and how long i have been driving. i noticed when i first put my front mount on it was idleing just inder and since then has rose after about 4 months of having the front mount. is this a problem i should be worrying about. before i touched the engine with a decat and front mount it was spot on. any suggestions to why this has happened would be mucho apreciated

finance is usually more expensive than a loan but what ever you do dont start shoping for loans as ou may fook up your credit rating if you get denied a few times. finance can be cheaper in some cases as sometimes they offer you 0% for how ever long but once that runs out you can bet on it going much higher. really depends on how mechanically sound the car is and do you trust the company seling it. most people dont have that much cash spare so i have done the route of taking a loan to get my car but i work for a bank so the interest is low. it would be nice if i could spend most of my money

if you can afford the repayments go for it. if you get a large chunk of money one month wack it on the car 2 pay more of it off. if you enjoy the car then its worth it but only if it doesnt go wrong.

i must agree with indrees. and if i had a sportif i would get it looking exactly like an sr and paint the intercooler so you cant c that as its a give awyay somethings not right
