I've got purple ones here

Down loch ness side and away over to the west coast. The west has all the best roads and best scenery. Also skye is a good run, road back is insane and is so smooth! Views are out of this world. Depends where your from aswell also. Im up inverness way so anything north from me is good fun.

Should be obvious really mate. A front mount will cool far better than a top mount. As the top mount sits ontop of a roasting engine. Only downside to a front mount is slightly more lag. But the upsides far outweigh the downsides mate. You will get much cooler inlet temps. Also looks much better aswell with a front mount

Does anyone know this? Was thinking of seeing if there was any other toyota models that use the same wheel bearing in a bigger disc for uprating the rear brakes. Just a thought to see if there was anything that would work

As phil stated I've heard of people using quiafe and then still going wrong. Pulsar gtir quaife gearboxes for example. There needs to be something made anyway as 3rd gear for c52 is now discontinued. Surely someone can make something in the middle. The 7k+ ud need for a quiafe box is rediculous. Who is going to spend that on a gearbox? My thinking is that there must be enough people to warrent trying to get a gearset made? Or even a couple of gears ie 2nd and 3rd
-
Someone somewhere must be able to do a gearset cheaper than that. Has anyone contacted a manufacturer of custom gearsets? Would maybe be an idea to try and find someone willing to make say 10 gearsets at 1.5k each or there abouts? Its the only thing bothering me about my build as i know the gearbox is the weak point. Limits what power i can go to really. Id seriously look at putting some money in to get something made aslong as there was a few others.

The illusive starlet, now spotted
Trackgt replied to crawleysam's topic in eBay, BidJDM, Yahoo Auction Finds
Each to there own. Its obviously rare for a reason. No one chose that colour scheme from new because it looks awful haha. Especially when the mk1 comes in much nicer colours ie blue grey and burgundy -
The hardpipe goes to your hi lo boost solenoid i think mate. Just take it off and block it off. You can actually remove the solenoid and hardpipes all together. There will be a guide on here somewhere im sure
