  1. Wow this is a mega build just read it all . Nice work , do you have any more info on the driveshaft setup and gear shifter setup? I've a spare glanza and this is very tempting Cheers Mike
  2. Cheers Aye got a complete 4efte engine with inlet to fit πŸ’ͺ
  3. Fitted a new custom stealth front mount intercooler and made up a nice and short route cooler pipe. Used a landrover intercooler due to size and weight . The radiator is the usual half civic alloy rad but will move the lower pipe. Also keeps from cutting any bumpers etc. Also just bought a full 2.5" race-tech exhaust and full turbo engine to swap in.
  4. Well finally got the front end fully welded up . Just need to smooth off and blend in welds before seam sealer is applied. Then onto mocking up radiator and intercooler setup πŸ˜€
  5. Front end mocked up and all gaps checked ready for welding on for good 😎 All joints zinc primed with weld through primer. Pretty happy with the alignment
  6. Almost ready to weld on front section now which includes chassis leg and inner wing at n/s/f. Which was from a previous repair that I wasnt keen on. It's been alot of work and hours already but hopefully have the front end ready for paint. I will let the pictures do the talking Bit more final tweaking and alignment checks along with trail fitting wings and bumper before welding it all up , thank god
  7. Lad that I got the bonnet and cut from swapped out the front on the reflex for glanza parts it's also forged and turbo
  8. So there we have it some backward steps to do it properly
  9. This was what was annoying my OCD
  10. Ok so my ocd kicked in , the inner wing at the passenger side was annoying me . While I was repairing the recent crossmember damage the inner wing was annoying me . So gluten for punishment I cut this front end off a local car . So that decided I was replacing inner wing , slam panel and complete crossmember also 😲
  11. Then collected and fitted mint used bonnet
  12. More progress , although it is kind of a backward step at the same timeπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Firstly finished off where I left off with tapping the holes for the oil filter housing
  13. Then it was time for the drilling of the block for the 4efte oil filter housing. Must admit I wasn't looking forward to this. 😦 Took me a minute to suss out what was going to be the best way of drilling these. And decided to insert copper pipe into filter housing holes to act as a guide to drill straight holes for studs. Also measured depth of one of my turbo block holes which was approx 23mm. So checked threaded part of studs that were being fitted approx 13mm . Decided I didn't need to go as deep as oe . So settled on 19mm depth for clearance used a bit of tape on drill bit for dep
  14. Bit more time spent preparing for turbo fitment which included removing one rather crusty sump . For replacing with a spare turbo sump and matching pickup pipe
  15. Just a ct9 I had lying about which I've had Midland turbos refurb it
  16. Start of engine mods began also ,beginning with det3 with plug and play loom. Followed with standard turbo manifold with restriction removed from cylinder 3 runner. Then fitted one of my spare glanza power steering pumps along with pipes and brackets
  17. Got a bit more done , need to collect 2nd hand bonnet to line up and check fitment before I weld in new crossmember. Some weld through primer added then trail fit of crossmember πŸ˜€
  18. Cheers Might have got carried away and not be Na after I'm finished Managed to nip the damaged crossmember off now , the spot weld drill had a hard time
  19. Then after trial fitting everything it was my least favourite job of dissecting the spare front crossmember. In preparation for replacing the damaged lower crossmember.
  20. After I had it all squared up I trial fitted the front lights , bumper and indicators. Thankfully they fitted really well
  21. Well started working on the poor sr again last week , decided to pull out the damage myself . It actually pulled at really well . No trees were harmed in the repair of the starlet😁
