Cheers guys, trimming it is.

Apparently only 200 of these were brought into the UK and not that many on the road according to howmanyleft.com... http://www.fiatforum.com/panda/125552-panda-sporting-how-many-made-they-numbered.html https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/fiat_panda_sporting_multijet

Dragging this thread up from the depths as I'm trying to fit a Cusco brace and got the same situation. Amjad - Did you end up trimming yours or did you manage to slide the brace under the plastics? Prefer to avoid cutting the plastics if I can. Ta

Year: 2005 Model: Fiat Panda Sporting Tax: £30 for the year MOT: Passed 04/10/2016 Mileage: 92,169 Description: Having picked up a Glanza it's time for the Panda to move on to someone else. Fantastic little car I'm sure I'll regret selling, cheap to run, economical and reliable. I bought the car in October 2013. At the time I drove to work and needed to save for a deposit. I’ve since moved out, no longer drive to work and now have a Glanza in the garage. History: Full service history with stamped service book. I have receipts from previous owners and for parts I’ve had done such as tyres, battery, glow plugs etc. Features: Fiat Sporting side skirts, alloy wheels and bumpers. MOT: Passed 04/10/2016. Only advisories were front brake discs "worn, pitted or scored but not seriously weakened", garage advised plenty of life left in them. Good bits Condition - Good with a few of the usual age related marks. I feel I’ve looked after it well. Claying, waxing and polishing it while I’ve had it.Cheap - £30 a year road tax and good MPG.Tidy interior - While I’ve had it I’ve taken the interior out, cleaned underneath carpets etc and wet vacced everything.Timing chain - Doesn’t have/need a cambelt.Bad bits Locking - The remote central locking no longer works. I’m happy to use the keys in the door and have both originals.Boot switch - This works intermittently. The car came with this common fault and as above it’s simply a case of using the key.Price: £1,500 Pictures: Attached and more available here - http://bit.ly/SportingPanda Contact Details: Drop me a PM.

After owning a Fiat Panda for a few years it seems I can't escape grandpa driving.

Took the seats out today, gave everything a clean with the wet vac and tidied up the nooks and crannies. Interior wasn't in bad shape but smelling fresher already and left with some dirty looking water after. Managed to find an odd little trinket under the back seats. Quick Google Translate and it seems to be from a shrine in Kyoto...

How's it looking after nine years? Looks clean from here!

Cheers George, yours too. Had a proper look and like what you've done with it. Definitely, give me a shout when there's one and I'll try and get along. Worth it in the end. No idea what I'd have done if it turned out to be a bag of nails... Cheers, few bits to be getting on with but that's half the fun.

Work to date... I've given her a clean - claying, waxing and polishing using Bilt Hamber clay, Collinite 846 wax and some bargain bin Halfords SRP. The OEM wind deflectors were half stuck on so off they came, cleaned up and stuck back on. I had my eye on a rear strut brace and managed to pick up a Cusco carbon piece from @charlie28 I’ve also changed the coolant with Toyota red and replaced the thermostat with an ID Workz part. Future jobs... Next on the list are giving the engine bay and interior a good going over. I've got a Walboro fuel pump which came with the car which I'll fit at some point and the parcel shelf speakers need seeing to as one seems to have given up the ghost. The forum has been a huge help so far. ...and on that bombshell.

The car... What drew me to the car was the fact it’s still fairly standard with a few bits here and there. The plan is to keep it that way for now...famous last words. It’s been more than a month since I picked up the Glanza and about time I started a thread. The search... After a motorbike, Polo GTi and Fiat Panda it was time to get something with a bit more poke. Looking for something small and turbocharged, I kept coming back to the Toyota. Planning to buy later this year I started doing my homework. Eventually I came across @jamiemce Glanza and decided to book train tickets to go and have a look. Until that point, I could count on one hand the number of Glanza’s I’d seen. Luckily @Peaches_Screeches was nearby and she helpfully offered to meet up and offer some advice before I made the trip up North. The week after I started the long journey, catching the train from London to Edinburgh, Megabus to Glasgow, train to Paisley and walking the final leg. After a cup of tea and after plenty of questions, I was the new proud owner. Later that day I drove the 400 miles back home and the car didn’t miss a beat.

Is the Rear Cusco Carbon Strut Brace up for grabs? Ta. -
I'm planning to go to Boosted this month. Just need to get it waxed and polished in time!

A late thank you to @Peaches_Screeches for sparing her time to talk Glanza's. I've now managed to get my hands on one...

Cheers Jamie, it was worth the long trip up! Didn't miss a beat on the journey back from Edinburgh to London. Will have to start a thread on here once I've got everything sorted. -
First post on the forum so I'll keep it short and sweet. I'm looking to buy a Glanza in the next few months. Having never actually had a proper look or ride in one, are there any members local to Hertfordshire who would spare an hour or so for a few beers? I've had a look for meets etc but can't find anything. Cheers, John
