Is that £500ish including OE pistons and rings? I'm at the same fork in the road right now and Toyota want close to £500 just for a set of pistons and rings, nevermind anything else!

Blew a hole in the side of one of them just after I booked my holiday to Vietnam so can't afford to forge, but need the car as the one i'm using is about to get written off due to a National Express coach not knowing where the F he was going. As above. Just did a rebuild on mine and really don't wanna fork out another £160 for a new unit just yet. I don't actually know if it's the alternator at fault but pretty sure it must be. Cash on collection preferred. I'm in the Milton Keynes area but can travel if needs be.
