It could be just unburnt fuel coming out, mine only began to do it when I upped the fuel pressure. Have you an aftermarket fpr fitted?

Congrats on the new car mate, bet your chuffed with it. Keep them serviced every 3-5k mile with good oil and genuine Toyota filters and you can't go wrong. A coolant flush and some Toyota red coolant will help also. They're pretty reliable wee cars if they've been maintained. What spec is your V? -
If you port out the turbos wastegate it will allow the excess exhaust gas to bypass the turbo and prevent the spike
