ive got a HDI EBC-R and i also opted for the rocket arming switch to change from low and high boost. its just hit me tho, the JAM ecu i am going to be buying... will it hold 2 different maps if you like, one for low and one for high, or will i have to give each setting a few runs each time i change from low to high or visa versa?? cuz i want to be able at the flick of a switch get an extra 30-40 BHP, but not sure if it is safe to just turn it up high and boot it, if the ecu will not have the correct fueling map in place straight away... sorry if im not making sense im trying to explain the bes

Should i buy standard or modified?
200sx-Starlet-Jay replied to nerosis's topic in Lifestyle General
agree with ryno. chances are its had a lot more hammer as well as it modified it obv shows the owner likes speed ect, so engine will have had a lot more stick.. as it is on 80k as well thats more road time, and more nailing it. not sayin the standard one has never been driven hard, but more than likely a lot less. and nothing beats the satisfaction of creating a beast from the ground up, when you stand back and look at it and think ive done that.. feels alot better! IMO that is... Jay
