wepr all the way. racetech is nice but not seen many results yet prt from ricky above which is a cracking result to be fair. most peeps are waiting on socks big garrett see if it performs aswell as the godzilla kit that krissy b had.

compressor surge is different to chatter. your deffo gettin chatter. can't remeber exact explanation of compressor surge but you only really get it on bigger turbos i believe. as peeps above have said. take bov apart and lube up etc.

lost a hell of a lot of coolant from the engine today
string replied to madmax_926's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
when mine was mapped it did this. i drained overflow bottle so it was just over low level indicator. filled rad to top of filler neck. was fine for a week. decided to then fill my overflow bottle back upto full. it then filled up and rad level went down. its ok now i've re drained bottle again n topped up rad. -
well the postcode takes ya upto 31 and back down so presume thats the south side? maybe best just to follow that. i don't mind though. any convoys frm j26.27?

yeh rickys does look good. majority of peeps get the wepr stuff in mild steel. only like extra 60 quid for stainless. think he knocks 100 dollars of price of stainless if ya go mild steel. so you have the stainless option if you wanted. they'd look even better.

high quality mate. me and ktl have the evo mani with the shall we say odd w'g placement. near power steering lol quality kit and they look sweet. mine was black but now a nice hazy white silver.

get ya mum to insure it for like 200 quid. U as named driver. Most insurance i spoke to don't charge for named drivers. Goes on the policy n main driver. It ain't frontin either because u only use it at weekends. May save the hassle.

i meant ya slag drift isn't insured during the week. So if someone vandalised it you'd have to pay. As insurance wouldn't pay. Surely it'd be better to insure it. Then ya covered.

biig ky so your not insured during the week? so if someone had an accident into your car or it got set on fire by vandals. your screwed. or have i read that wrong. not sure on how to get round it. trailer it is all i can think of.

replace dizzy and roatary arm? check if the pin in the center of dizzy is good. not worn away. is it drainin water from rad into expansion tank n not replacing it?

same as me brad. i want to say 1.2 but i know i should say 1 bar. i suppose i could get it mapped to 1.2. run it at 1 bar and save like mad for forge engine then whack it back up. but then it kinda defeats the object of gettin it mapped at 1.2 lol because once i can forge then i will and boost will be 1.4. tbh when i got hybrid mapped at 1.1 i didn't boost it fully till i was near home incase something went. aafter i got home.i thrashed it everywhere. any more opinions. cheers dudes

well it ran 1.1 on a hybrid, dodgy clutch, mbc which was pants and pulled 180. so engine has handled 1.1 boost pressure. be it with less air to td04. dunno power wise as td04s ran on stock ecu at .4, ebc upto .5 .6 if i feel the extra powers worth it. decided not to dyno it as it weren't mapped and it should be less than my hybrid. at .6 it doesn't feel far off the hybrid if thats poss? so if the map was a good quality map would you run 1.2, 1.1 or a bar? anyone else have any views. more the merrier. cheers

well mapping 2moro and i'd like 1.2. but don't wanna blow engine. i think i'm being silly and just need to get it mapped to that and it'll be fine right? also am i right in thinking at .5 .6 a td04 isn't very efficient and 1.2 will be a big improvement power wise and kick etc? cheers craig
