  1. its a tough one. obv if there saying it was an error on the sytem you'd want the money back. but... they'll probably say they would of honoured there mistake if you had to claim. now it has been noticed there sayin they can't insure to cover themselves. think its gotta be put down to experience and thats it mate. i suppose you could claim sayin that you werre mis sold insurance. plus you have the paperwork. so you just need it in writing that they have never done it. is your insurance as landlord and not normal house insurance.
  2. top mounts. take ya strut off and take top mount off. norm a massive nut under there that comes loose with time. th big nut that holds top half to lower half of suspension. that should sortit. had same issue. tried everything and it was that.
  3. looked after as in what giggs? service oil change etc or you mean not blasting everywhere. apart from you who else is running 1.2 is the question?

  6. yes u can run hks set at a certain psi but i feel its better using a controller either manual or electronic so the actuator isn't working overtime. fpr etc need setting up on rolling road. gotta be 100 quid. emanage is like 500 fitted and mapped.

  8. mine was meant to be mapped to 1.2 on my tongs gt spec2. clutch started slippin at 1.2 so it was only mapped to 1.1. drove up at .6 bar. drive home was amazing. only went td04 for screamer lol and power but they sound fantastic.

  12. ok cool. cheers mate. i was thinking 1.1. then its a solid 1 bar. dunno how much brake .1 would give if i went to 1.2. suppose figures are giggs at 1.2 is 236 majority of td04s at a bar are 210 to 220. so 220 - 230 for 1.1 poss?
  13. just want peoples opinions on reliability to boost ratio. a few threads say 1 bar on td04 is reliable. other threads say 1.2. then theres driver n blair who run over 1.2 for long periods. so with the right map will 1.2 be reliable or is it best running a bar till i forge. don't fancy running 1.2 for short period and engine go on me then have to go in debt to forge, without car for a few weeks etc if you know what i mean. any reply would be nice. even a i love you lol
  14. doubt it mate. had a full ignition revamp before i went td04. never hesitated with hybrid. since td04 its started doing it. mappin soon so hopefully that'll sort it. cheers for the replys.
  15. you'll need a hks actuator and a boost controller. could always get a turbosmart boost tee for 50 pounds. rx7 intercooler or front mount. either plug n play ecu or emanage etc. could get away with rrfpr n fuel cut defender but personally i think a proper ecu upgrade is better. before a bar i'd get suspension n brakes sorted.
  16. remove the arm. remove the interior trim. un bolt motor, unclip the wiring harness. should drop out or u may have to get a big spanner on it. hope that helps.

    Idle Problem

    mines just gone similar since i chopped intercooler pipe work etc got a spar pipe so gonna throw it on and see if it cures it. if so then its boost leak related. yours sounds similar.
  19. slightly off topic but not. i've got emb n td04 standard internals. i dunno what boost to run. most people have said 1 bar for reliability etc some have said 1.2. but i can only think of giggs who runs 1.2. driver was crazy with 1.5 and believe sparks goin 1.4/5 so i dunno weither to keep it safe at a bar. save for forgedengine and then map to 1.4 maybe td05. on topic i think a few poeple on tgtt run rrfpr and td04s with 200 to 210 at a bar.

  24. put one on my gt and on a td04 at .6 it is so quiet. could it be a piping leak causing it or are they generally quiet till i map up to 1.2 etc anyone else ahd quiet dump valve syndrome and sorted. tried to do video but quality was poor. cheers
