  2. Was in Portsmouth and Southampton yesterday visiting Seed, he was talking about your car as he told me your car is just around the corner in a garage :lol:

    seed is a cool guy :p your both welcome to come see it any time, its got the ct9 power up kit on now and an emanage blue waiting to go on, should be up and runnig very soon, started the engine for the first time last week and she runs well, cant wait to start going to meets in it!! by the way you V is realy tidy!!

    your bro is defo right the car must have a policey to be coverd third party when driven by anyone fully comp on there policey.

    a good company to try is tett-hamilton. you can get the number from the back of banzai mag and other places. they are very fussy about who the cover must be 21+ clean licence ect but i had my first v at 21 fully comp £650 group 17 covered as starlet import glanza v turbo. so you should have no probs.

    intercooler is alittle higher and core is black now, front bumper is still being modified, the vf23 turbo has been sold due to me getting points on my licence :)

    so talking with a turbo specialist about a ct9 hybrid :) and am ordering my WEPR ct9 externally gated mani this weekend.

  5. dont be to put of a high mile car, i imported mine privatly with about 100,000miles on and although i swaped the engine for a foged lump the old one ran sweet as a nut bit of a shame realy, also a fair few low millage ones are clocked :) as has already been said the engine is bullet proof if looked after.

    you have joined one of the best sites for help and advice so dont think any one is being to harsh, they are all out to help you get the best from having a starlet. its not just the turbo side thats pricey its the imported car part. insurance sucks!!

    decided she needed lowering so bought some tein's

    set of four from japan have covered 5K miles, but didnt have the adjustable top mount so back on the bay

    still need to decide on a turbo otherwise will neva be finished lol

  8. ^^^^^ sorry couldnt part with her :p and i know these parts have just become mega rare hence the price increase :D

    well heres a bit of progress.

    got the new lump as back together as i can at the mo

    the fibreglass on the bumper is because im still working on that.......but thats a suprise hehe

    still need handling mods and breaks and started talks with some one over the turbo kit :unsure:

    been working at lot and im back on night shifts so it will be a while but hopefully have her up and running by the summer.

    my mate sold his s2 and bought a new onefrom the forum with porshe brakes and all the extras you could evea need lol should be good for about 4oo-600bhp depending on how much he wants to spend. will get sum pics up when it turns up ( sparky :D )

    its not a bad thing at all. can be any number of reasons why its been changed. if it runs smooth and well it doesnt matter. im putting a gt engine in my glanza :)

    she has lowering spring, no idea what ones yet and a full fujitsubo exhaust system

    oh plus it has a few toyota extras like rear strut, sunroof and came with the toyota owners manual and handbook :)
