  1. feel like such a nob!! if id noticed this thread earlier I've got an escort van and live about 20mins from southampton docs could picked them up and droped them to you for the cost of the fuel. doh!!!

stll fair play looks like sum damn nice engines you have there.

  2. please can some one help cant seem to insure my glanza for less than 2k!! my last cost me £650 fully comp. but the new car is very moded. im 23 have drivin for 5 years 3 nearly 4 years no claims no accidents and sp30 bout 3 or 4 years ago!! had a tuned mini then a tuned 206 then a starlet for 2 years now getting the new one. how does any one manage to get covered on highly tuned cars

  3. hey and welcome. as far as buying a V goes have you thought of a private import?? i got mine for a damn good price from a good website full of cars only downside is the wait. on a 4K budget you would get a hell of a motor. import agents handle most of the jap side of it so isnt to scary to do. drop me a pm if you want a lil more info  (dont wana shout about purchase price)

  4. ok thought was time to show another little step towards my glanza. i got these off toby at toytuning today.

and Chris's 200SX soon to be a skyline powered drift car.

  5. Yeah sorry bout that being an essay, like i said feel like a complete confused noob. That helps. It has a cone induction filter, would this be why the dump valve was making a noise? I think the catches on the seats are knackered as i tried pushing the seats into the clips, but they just lifted back out again. and yes the strut brace did have starlet on it.

yep would be why. and the clips can get a bit loose. my first glanza had crappy clips for the rear seats, can prob get new ones from toyota as the clip housig (on the floor base under the seat cushions) loks like they could be changed.

  6. looks nice and clean. and have a good look around the parts and trader sections on this site for a lil more direction as to mods and styling. and ebay for the clear lenses (about £25 just search starlet ep91) i had no idea when i got my first glanza takes a lil time.

  7. yet another small update. these arrived in the post yesterday

and just heard from toby at toytuning and my cruise fenders and bonnet will be posted on monday so wil add some pics of them aswell as the rocker and timing belt cover that I've had sprayed by my mate. also my be a few changes to the project like not getting the sixspeed box and now prob not going TD04 been looking at something a bit more crazy ;)

  8. hello and welcome mate.

glanza is a great choice!! just be careful of the cheaper ones theres alot of rubish comin in and being sold on pistonheads at the mo. Toby @ ToyTuning (trader section on this site) can import cars, and so do some realy good companys on the net longer wait but get a better standard of car alot of the time. maybe worth a look.
