    Man power they say thay have 2000 on a list however try triple that with

    Every phone call made about a protentul person leads anouther line of investigation.

    With all the budget cuts etc

    Now they slowly recuriting again but

  2. 3k sounds steep. What work been charged for 3 grand..

    Got mine sorted this weekend..

    Turned out inlet flange warped.

    so back to stock and car is fine

    Ah I

    Had some

    Spacers made for my front arb

    My rear arb and para fitted

    Custom air intake pipe made for turbo

    Catch can supplied and fitted

    Aem wideband supplied and fitted

    Geo set up.

    Throttle body stripped down and unblocked some wiring had to be sorted out to. About 2 hours of mapping to set fueling etc. There a lot they did which has made the car better. Atill

    Got to have it mapped once I done to cam issues

    Have to do some routing of some pipe work away from manifold as they will melt through eventually

    There workshop labour rate is 90 a hour there Mapping is 135 its mainly labour

    Debts and just call it a day I 30 this

    Sunk 20 k plus in this car and it still not done

  3. Stock cams are not the restriction.

    So stock cams r fine mate..

    I run stock cams and plenty others do in the 300bhp bracket..

    Perfect I managed

    To get a set local to me so b getting them

    At the weekend then got to get car back to mine from

    Lakeside then fit the new cams and seals etc

    More bloody expensive.

    Don't help having 3k tuning bill lol but should b able to sort that

    Update from the checks the clearances are fine how ever my cam followers are wrong for the type of cams I have fitted which is causing the lobe of the cam catching on the

    Followers and trying to push the shims out.!

    So the cams in there are now ruined so need to sorce a new set of cams or a good second hand

    Set.

    My question is what power can the stock cams take ?

  5. Pipes been changed and checked. Also 1 way valve is ok.

    This servo is from a breaker from a mate and was great on his starlet..

    Unless just worn out..

    Still lost tbh.

    Strange one. Have u change size of the pipe of the inlet atall ? I just trying to think what could be causing the weak vacume

  6. Get pipe back on..

    Give it some boost and a map.

    Need to see how it reacts to boost before re shimming..

    The mapper recommend that they b checked due to it hard to hear the det prop through the det cans and it was bloody loud tapping from

    The head. It better to get them sorted then carry on mapping to be on safe side at end of day it what a extra 59-100 quid if I need a few shims from Toyota

  7. Im not so sure. As it shouldnt effect engines vacuum.

    im guessing inlet leak or something like that..

    Shit sorry I forgot they have a pipe off the Inlet Hose not got small hole in it ? But i still check the servo

    Areas most of it is labour tbh but that what u get by a good tuning company a high labour rate lol

  10. Mine taps like hell.

    Yet been mapped no problem. Unless yours is seriously bad?

    Need to investigate the pedal msn, maybe its leaking slightly..

    It seems bad by what the mapper said through the det cans.

    Yer was running fine then just lost the pedal I just hope it not internal fault but got to get car bk to colchester now from the place then work out what's gone wrong

  11. So I got a phone call today from

    The mapper giving me bad news my clutch pedal decided to give up the ghost during the map don't no what's caused it yet poss slave but was new or it is my clutch master cylinder so that's one thing

    Anouther is that they noticed a fair amount of tapping on my head which is making listing for deternation hard.

    Think it is valve shims anouther set back

    I so far spent 2700 at the place for various things I wanted to be done including the partial map.

    So now I got to bring the car home find out why the pedal gone hopefully it fluid related and not clutch but mapper said it just lost Pedel and decide what to do with the shims I might go Toyota as I have a trade account.

    It a pain and now having to take a 700 quid pay cut I am now haven't got a clue what to do
