Skint at the mo as only been back at work for 3 weeks, so nothing gona happen for a while. Wheels are a mess at the mo. Got 2 speedlines that need tyres but not important as i have 5 steels from the donor, 4 very good tyres and the spare one needs a tyre as its old and side walls cracked. Was gona use it in mine as the speedline wont fit in the wheel well. Was looking at some yaris sr alloys on ebay. 195 50 firestones all round £200

Could of had mine lol. Just thought it was wasted space, only thing lacking in the starlet is storage space. Just had a look for a glanza arm rest, not sure if they have storage space in them. Swapped the throttle bodies and everything back to normal 😁

Nice work Sam. I have the one without adjuster screw. Just been over the garage and swapped the throttle bodies. Idle back to normal and the sticky accelerator pedal seems to have gone too. Seems smoother through the rev range as well 😁

98, i dont have a multi meter sorry. My tps (black) and icv(grey) plugs are 3 pin. I have the stuff from og engine, but its a my mechs garage. Need to get it tomorrow possibly. I take it the plastic plug in the air box is the air temp sensor

Tried throttle cleaner with no luck. Swapped the pipes round at the back as i saw someone say it could be the issue but no change.

Watched a few vidz and have cleaned the throttle housing and idle still high 1500 when warm, but 1000 when cold 🤨. Swapped the vacuum pipes round at the back, no change. Couldnt get the pipes off the underside for fear of destroying them, tried to unscrew the 2 screws holding the electro magnet on but were stuck tight so unable to remove idle valve to clean it properly. Just sprayed it down the hole a couple of times. Guess its completely gummed up and stuck open 🤷‍♂️

No actual progress. Idle still on the blink. Currently trying to get the plastic under trays back on as mech left them off. 20 year old rotten threads are a dream to work with 🙄 looks like it will be zip ties 😎

The throttle cable has a small amount of slack. It does stick a little after its been sat. I can feel it break free When I unplug the icv connector the idle drops to about 1100, plug it in and it pops up to 1500

I have this issue after engine swap, noticed this on a service invoice from 2016, investigate high idle. Tried the ecu master reset, disconect battery for 10 mins with no joy. Should I do something to the idle valve?

Only took what would fit the 3dr, sorry. Didnt have storage for the rest. Had to get my machanic to do the swap as i have no tools, ramp Yer, i know. Just bloody expensive lol

Engine swap complete, standard 4efe 146,000 Couldn't swap ignition because we were missing some black box located behind the glove box 🙄 Got a quote for alloy referb @ £78 a corner, not sure whether to do it myself or sell these speedlines and buy a new set of alloys. Had these in mind
